You do a great job explaining all the components. May I ask, I have an Infrared Sauna that just won't heat up. If I turn it on and off a bunch of times once in a while it will. Seems odd. Everything else works, all the lighting, controls, bluetooth sounds. Do you have any idea what could be the cause? I don't have any techs near me to help with this.
Hi Great video. I have exactly what you said. I have 240 volts on one side but nothing on the 12 volt side. Do you know where I can get parts as I live in the UK
Hi John, we can ship to you in the UK, or you can get them from a local electronics supplier. The important information is the 'output' voltage, most commonly it is only 12vdc, but very occasionally it is both 12vdc and 5vdc. feel free to send a photo of yours. I have an infrared sauna that fails to start when pushing the power button. The outlet has power, no breakers tripped. My guess is perhaps the fuse needs replacement. I do not have the owner's guide, nor do I recall the brand of the sauna. Sucks to be me, I know. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Great channel!! My units 3 back elements work but the two vertical front elements each side of the door do not. No voltage at top block of each side. What does that likely mean?
Thanks. A video on how to test and change fuses would be helpful. For example, in a sauna with 2 fuses and 2 relays, only half of the six infrared panels work. How to diagnose the problem? Can I switch the two fuses to see if that reverses which panels don’t work? Or switch the two relays? Thanks for any input.
Hi J, thanks for your feed back, I am more that happy to do a video on changing other aspects of the Control Box including the Fuses. For me to get a better understanding of your situation are you able to send me a top down photo of the control box. With that I will be able to give you more definitive advice. One set of ceramic heaters don’t work. Must be a series circuit. Testing proved that it wasn’t the fuses. That’s unfortunate since the sauna came with 2 extra fuses, and that would have been easy. I guess I should go through the testing you have instructed in this video, before I test the elements. Your 240 reference likely doesn’t refer to Canada?
