The darling red pixie and the Girl Scout green Poppy Tee are giving me Peter Pan vibes in the very best way, adorable!! Keep going with the Anthe Shawl, it will be lovely and so wearable in fall/winter. Love your podcast and your choice of yarns and patterns!!
Try the TULC cardigan by albina❤so good!!!!
Haha!! I’ll accept that. I will definitely carry on with the shawl. It’s quite a fun knit. Thank you so much for watching, Laurie!
OMG that green colour is what my spring dreams are made of 💚
I LOVE the color combo for your Anthe shawl! It's so much fun to see all the different interpretations of one design! I loved the Bazaar Girls yarn shop in Port Townsend when I visited last year--they had some awesome local handspun selections. P.S. hi to Georgie!
Hi Hailey! I recently moved to Bainbridge Island and I was so excited to hear about the Puget Sound LYS Tour. I hope you enjoy your visit around Western WA 🤗
Hi Vicky! I was so glad that my trip happened to line up that way!! I’m not sure I’m going to know how to absorb so many yarn shops in one area though!! 😍😍😍 You are lucky to live in such a lovely area!!
Hello Georgie! 😻 Love the color of your Poppy Tee and Anthe Shawl. I submitted my Party Line Scarf for the Lonely Skeins Project MAL. The baby bib and booties set is adorable!
🧶
Looks like Lamb and kid has postponed the brunch. I will still be there for the crawl. Hope to see you.
Loves watching this and great idea using helical knitting in that yarn ❤ I wouldn’t have thought of that
Thanks, Mari!! I am glad I recalled that I had noticed a difference in the skeins when I bought them and chose the ones that were the closest to each other. Learning from past mistakes……
It's really beautiful!
The bright green really fits you! Maybe it will inspire me to another project? 😀 Your podcats have this power! Also, I find the thickness-variegating yarn very interesting! I haven't seen it anywhere yet.
Having a digital scale dedicated to yarn and unspun fiber is invaluable. I use mine mostly for spinning. Be sure it measures not only ounces but grams as well for greater accuracy ❤
I think it’s probably on the purchase list soon. Yes, my current one does both g and oz. Thanks so much for watching!!
Wow I’m absolutely in love with your Poppy tee. You look so good in it. And I will shamelessly copy your yarn combination for a vest (looked straight at your instagram after finishing your episode). Looking forward to next week with part 2 and hope you have a wonderful time yarn shopping next week.
Thank you!! It wouldn’t have been a color I would have chosen had we not been at KFO in person. It’s a bold color choice. But I have fallen in love with the Clover green.
Another fun episode 😁 exciting plans while in Washington? Plan on visiting thr coast? This last week we had a bit of summer fun in the sun and the Northern lights were such a special and spectacular event. Always love seeing your your makes they're always so beautiful and never feel bad about your emotions or tenderness, its a part of who we are and those moments hold more value than words can speak, if ya need a moment, that's fine too, you know your needs best and its not for anyone to judge ya on. We all experience and process things differently.
Your emotions are beautiful ❤
🤗🤗🤗
Hi Hailey! Thanks so much for shouting out my channel ❤. That green is so stunning on you, it really is the perfect Spring piece👌🏾
Hi Kendra!! Of course!! I thought your pros & cons list was so on point.
Hailey !! Your poppy tee, delightful . Your shawl is stunning! I love the contrast, it looks so fantastic on camera .
Thank you so much, Christine!! The Poppy Tee is a favorite for sure. And thanks for helping to quell my fears about my shawl… 🤗
Keep at that shawl, the colors are fabulous!!
Thanks, Nina!! Will do 🤗
Are you going to Churchmouse knits!!! Lucky you. Have fun. Check out junction fiber mill cast and woolly thistle shopcast . Emma Robinson is a wonderful vlog. . Thanks
Well you know, I don’t think they have a brick and mortar anymore. And I think La Mercerie is actually in their old shop now. So I suppose in some way I’ll be visiting them. 😆 Thanks for the recommendations!! I will check them out.
@@Knitweekend yes they do. Just opened this spring . It was a nurserystore(plants not babies) a new yarn studio!
❤ Lovely podcast. Thank you. How many grams, please, did your lovely Party Line scarf take?
Hi Sheena! I did it with 50g
Good Morning! I’m not seeing the Nova Scarf on your Ravelry Project page. Could you direct me to the podcast where you detailed it? Or could you quickly recall which Cardiff. Ashmede yarn you used and the color way?
Hi Casey!! I talked about this in the April WIP update S2Ep.7. I’d admittedly behind in Ravelry. This is Cardiff Cashmere Classic and I think the color is Take #675. But I’ve misplaced the label.
@@Knitweekend thank you!
