My friend and I both got Lucky friends off a Ho-oh raid. Little did we know we would both get a shiny Ho-oh form that trade. We needed up swapping where I got the SHLUNDO and he got a Shiny 98

Mega charizard is one of the only two megas I have maxed out so I'm pretty excited to get alot of xl candies for ho oh especially after I got a lot of tyranitar from comm day

I’m kind of excited. Not the strongest Pokémon m, for sure, but for some reason I like it. And compared to the Regis, Deoxys, and the gods (Tornadus, etc.), I’ll take it for sure.

I’m actually excited about HoHo and all the other lame recycled 5-star raids this month as I spent way too much on the Hoenn Tour and can use a break.

Raids have an issue where even though you Dodge the move it will kill your Pokémon anyway…
No the dodge damage is reduced by like half or more but you still get damage
@@spookyskellyskeleton609 sometimes 2 Pokémons die back to back even though they don’t receive damage

Want to mention something about yesterdays event. I did not got any shinies yesterday after about 300+ checks. I thought the odds were supposed to be boosted? Hitmontop research I got 0 shiny.
I know. My wife didn't get any shiny hitmoncan and no shiny tyrogue for me
I managed to get all 3 shines in the wild although I stayed out basically the whole time with a couple breaks in between. My daughter got 2 hitmontop shines from research but nothing else. We barely could hatch any Tyrogues but we still have the eggs incubating.
Agreed. I caught about 200, checked maybe 50 others, completed all research = no shinies. I'm ok with it because I already had all 3, but I certainly didn't see any "boost". Thought it was only Tyrogue in 7k's, didn't know the pool was diluted with others. Bummer no hatch distance bonus.

My daughter hatched a shiny Tyrogue earlier today. It was the 4th one hatched so if u got eggs cooking there is still hope.

@@TreFKennedy a level 50 mon is only a 10 percent increase from level 40. Its ludicrous for the amount of effort and money imo
@@taguro1006 i respect your perspective, i love to raid so i don’t mind spending it for raids, i like having level 50 legendary Pokémon, i got my stardust right and i only power up my Pokémon when needed
@@taguro1006 i agree too, for level 50 legendary Pokémon that 9% nerf needs to go, if im spending $40-50 per level 50 legendary, it’s only reasonable that it’s more than 10% stronger than a level 40 legendary

I’m glad it will be getting 2 raid days because the 8th is women’s day so most people will be busy from 6-7pm that day

I would bet that most won't even know it's Women's Day let alone actually celebrate it. The percentage that will treat it differently than any other day and do more than just maybe acknowledge/thank/appreciate an important woman in their life is extremely small.
So since Ho-Oh doesn't even get it's preferred move its lame to have this for 2 weeks regardless of Women's Day haha

@@katiewilliams2729 thank you. Few days prior I caught my first hundo as well. A rayqueaza. I'm still a new player so it's still exciting to me. I started last year but I recently started playing again have less then 300 pokemon at the moment
@@1991DodgeShadow congrats on the hundo Rayquaza I got my first Rayquaza close to the end of the time it was in raids I'm not a new player I've been playing since March of 2021 but just starting out you have already got a hundo legendary it took me until last year to get my first legendary my first legendary was Suicune during the Johto tour last year was a year of firsts for me and so far this year is looking like it's kinda going to be the same way anyway congrats on all your legendary pokemon both shadow and hundo and I hope you continue to have amazing luck
