This small crowd is better than the whole crowd of global citizen festival
abhinav chattaraj the difference is that house of vans is filled with Metallica fans, where as global citizen festival is filled with little yachty fans.

As a Cardiff boy, this means so much. Budgie really were one of the UK least recognized bands. All the glory taken by brilliant Midlands bands (and they were bloody good too).

Actually my favorite version is that by Florence Black. The singer’s voice makes it edgier and the riffs are a bit less mechanical. Even if I am a Metallica and Budgie fan.

John Burke Shelley - Original Bassist and lead vocalist of Budgie - passed away (at the Age of 71) yesterday on the 10th of January 2022. This is for him.
A TRULY AMAZING BASS PLAYER AND , WITH BUDGIE. TRULY EXCELLENT BAND BACK IN THE 70 , SO GLAD IT MENT ALOT TO METALLICA 😊😅😊
I've never seen Kirk Hammet happier on stage and just swaying in his groove more than this year. He's always great, he just seems like he loves being there more than ever.

When James swears these days I get a metal boner. When you hear him in the studio he still swears like crazy. You can tell he's just more reserved one stage. Wish he would just let it all out like the old day !! Still so awesome !!!

James voice sounds really great and overall this performance is Outstanding
His voice has changed so much since they recorded this song in 1989. His whole vocal style seems very different. I prefer the 80's James voice way better
@@dathorndike4908 Yeah well. Bruce Dickinson's voice doesn't sound the same either. When you do this stuff for decades, some wear and tear and changes are to be expected. James has done a good job of adapting tho, detuning the guitars as needed, and singing with less grit sometimes, because otherwise his voice would give out after 8 songs.

I watched and listened to it numerous times last week thinking it would be gone, such a phenomenal show and so glad I can re-watch as much as I want. I am SO in full Metallica mode. Been listening to the cds over and over in my car and on the iphone and when I am at work I'm fn jamming it here on RUclips. I've been a fan since 85 and I feel like a teen again listening to Hardwired. I haven't been this excited about ANY music in a ling time. I know you made this comment seven years ago but to answer your question bands don't get royalties from bands covering their songs live. They get royalties if the cover is on an album though.
The first song live with Metallica, Madrid in july of '99... no words to describe that Electric riff... awesome!!

i have loved Metallica since I was 9 years old...I know this is a cover...but I still have no fucking clue what a Breadfan is...I mean...I like toast as much as the next guy.
