Testament mains are part of a collective mix-up. They condition you to only expect projectiles so that the one Testament that uses the teleport catches you off guard from the conditioning. Truly the most synchronized group of players.
As a Test main that uses the teleport a lot, even when I shouldn't, I don't care about being effective, I just want to give my opponent a mental breakdown. I sometimes even hold the K button for canceling the teleport and stay in place. I have never got a punnish out of it, but as long as I know I'm messing with my opponents mind, It will always be worth of it.
Reasons to play Anji: Watching people switch between “This character is bottom tier” and “This character needs to be removed from the game” on a minute to minute basis is funny. Also Axl’s English VA is the most wholesome human being in existence.

Another note on Goldlewis: He has access to potentially the most damaging super in the game, thanks to being able to charge up his "down with the system" super by performing full circles as opposed to the basic hald-circle-then-flick motion, chargeable up to three different levels of "screw your health bar"
17:23 common misconception. Movement and neutral are not issues for Goldlewis unlike for Pot or Johnny. His actual weakness is defense. All of his punch normals are very flawed so he has a hard time getting people off him. That's why he beats characters like axl but loses to chipp.

If i hadnt played the game, the overview for Axl would have kept me away from ever trying him, but i have, and i just find the British man funny. Never really felt like a zoner kinda guy but he just kinda clicks you know? I`ll always have Sol or maybe Gio in the backline for emergencies anyway. Not that im good at all tho.

Zato having eddie removed for 7 seconds because someone bursted, yrc'd or did a wild defend which removes all possible pressure zato can use to defend eddie is insane. They removed the BTL baiting burst so there is little consequence for bursting since zato can't use his burst combo anymore, meaning he gets 2-3 hits, then the next interaction is zato only mix since eddie doesn't come back. Most characters now can combo off any hit with zato only being able to WA combo off a clean hit cs, or a CH 2h or 5H in the corner. Why nerf the cmd grab dmg if it wont even bring eddie back.
Coming from Street Fighter where I play Guile, my hot take is that the Leo “unga bunga” meme, is well, a bit of a meme. There’s certainly some truth to it sure, but also with his slower dodge, and slower buttons it actually helps to play a bit more patiently and work for your opening. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think he’s the sort of character to run full screen and put you in a blender, i think you play patient neutral with him, then once you have your opening you can let the ape out.
Pov: u picked Gio, so your enemies keep pressing their biggest buttons to keep you on the other side of the screen so you can't dash grab...then you dash whiff punish them and now you can dash grab😈
Had Johnny not dropped, I'd still be drinking blood as Nago (and spilling it even faster cause I'm ass). I have dabbled in Baiken and Leo all over Season 2 but I never really got convinced I should commit into either of them and haven't had a single match online as either of them in Season 3. Johnny just sorta swept me away and I decided to go with the flow
the thing about potemkin that pisses me off is he’s supposed to be a big grappler man but more often than not he puts you in corner and then just garuda pressures you until you die a slow and painful death or you alt+f4
Weird hearing talk on each character but the on screen is mostly just baiken slapping someone in the face lol. Kinda was expecting little examples for each character to represent what was being said

I've had a character crisis since the release of the game. i was so sad, when May turned out to be charge character and now I can't decide between Ky, Anji, Bridget and Johnny
Anyone got recommendations on who to play to slow the game down a bit? I'm used to a more street fighter kind of speed. I've been using baiken but idk, not really feeling it too much. I like the parry but the chain stuff is kinda weird, tatami is really cool though.
I'd give Nagoriyuki or Goldlewis a try. They're both big bodied characters and are a lot slower than other characters. Nago literally can't sprint, but has a dash attack that helps close distance, and Goldlewis can sprint, but has slower attacks than most of the cast. Also Potemkin, he's this games equivalent of Zangeif. Big slow grappler. Though beware, Nago has a unique technique (Blood Rage) that takes a lot of concentration to play around.

Nah, I had a friend who played them who loved to spam it. I seen the tele so much that I reactively just press 2k whenever I see it.

I switched to Jack-O after last playing during season 1 as Zato. I can confirm she's definitely a much better Zato.
