I thought I was going to be mad at the expensive bag but I actually like how well the place treats its employees, the backpack itself is art, and they encourage that you use the backpack as your forever bag and that it’s better the more it’s worn.
I have had a voltaic for over 7 years. It’s carried Amazon, Panama cloud forest and other off grid places.

I think this was one of the best episodes ever! Every single backpack was amazing! The most environmentally friendly bag is the one fished out of the recycling bin. I snagged a nearly new Bugout Gear bag that I've been using for four years. Got a leather sling bag about 8 years ago, lots of patina . Now when I see good bags I grab them and give to the charity shop.

I've had the same LL Bean Backpack for 9 years. They are so durable and they have a waist strap to take the pressure off your shoulders. It's a little tacky because my style has changed since middle school but I still use it because I don't feel like getting a new one.
