Co part has done this to other tracks. Something to do with the way speedways are zoned that enables co-part to move in and use it for a parking lot for their cars. Anyone associated with co part better hope they never run into me in a dark alley.
Believe it or not they are actually related to the Schrader family it's not the black fans it's the fact that these people have been convicted of raping 15-year-olds involved in methamphetamines and $5 million dollars with a stolen catalytic converters
I am so devastated that they're shutting it down I went there as a little kid it's probably been 20 21 years ago I was only four or five years old the very last time I went there I think I was only 13
Many drag strips, asphalt tracks and dirt tracks are going under. The pandemic didn't help but even fairgrounds tracks are being torn out and going dark permanently
Land value stuck out there. One track I should have visited only being 5 hrs away but like anything now it’s either bought out and torn down or just becomes a housing addition. My guess is they were told of what the land would bring and they opted to go that route.
Tracks simply can't make money. The land for dev elopers is the only real value in the tracks. One by one they fall. And none are being built to replace the decline.
