Full disclosure, after the review was recorded I contacted Spirit Torino and advised the product was ready to be returned. They offered me a discounted price or they'd provide shipping information for return. I chose to accept the offer and purchase the IEM Twin Impulse Beryllium. These are so good that I had to purchase them from Spirit Torino after the review.
This must be whistle-worthy if it's making you push towards shading CTM da Vinci:-) great that such quality stuff exists. Seems a totally gush-worthy soundscape. Might never get to hear one but relished the review:-)
@Maheshutube I still love my CTM Da Vinci X for its analytical and critical listen but the Spirit Torino has that tone, timbre and stage for jazz and classical. Both are solid performers. If you have opportunity to attend a Can Jam SoCal, Spirit Torino is bringing the IEM Twin Impulse Beryllium to show off.
@@TheHonestAudiophile wonderful. I already dig Italian coffee production refinement. Now the legends want to get into our ears too! Orchestral, vocalsz layered instruments, classical, jaZZ in all its variations with a glass of whiskey or coffee , depending on the time of the day, is my thing. But sometimes in life one has to let go of a few things; Spirit Torino I shall let you fly!
Wow the design really pique my interest, Italians truly are the masters of beauty. Hopefully they sound as good as they look. Spirit Torinos aren't cheap afterall.
Thanks Dave, another excellent review. These look very, very interesting. Out of curiosity, is there a full size headphone you would compare it to, in terms of sound quality, detail, imaging and soundstage?
Look forward to hearing your impressions. Of course comparison to headphone and IEM isn't quite fair. If you love jazz and classical on the 8xx then the Twin Impulse Beryllium is a pretty similar experience in my humble experience.
GM ☕️…apart from the meh ( and painful cable) ..you sound smitten 🥰 A new winner in the not crazy expensive IEM sweepstakes. Like a Ferrari or a Porsche..both are exhilarating drives ..but they drive differently…hence the genre specificity. A great and emotional review, choose your music wisely and enjoy.😊 Have a great weekend 🍻
I’m Italian and unfortunately i discovered those new iem too late,I just bought the ier z1r..have you tried them?are they comparable or are in a different league?
Sorry haven't heard the Monarch. Female vocals are pleasant. Sorry I don't listen to J-Pop often but the Twin Impulse Beryllium is a not at it's best with pop genre in general.
Can, you suggest some pleases t sounding iems. I have a budget of 200$. I don't like iems that are way too analytical. I listen to most genres except electronic music.

Wonder how much was the discount. Damm they look great. And the way they build it. Screw chifi. Lol
I was offered 70% off.
been attracted by your title- Jazz and Classical lover, not disappointed, wow I wanna buy this one just after listening to your impression already!
I hope you get the opportunity to hear them.
That was a very SPIRITED review, David, especially in my case, since I played the video at 1.25X speed. :p

Very interesting indeed. They have a Sennheiser HD8xx vibe to them with a bit more full bass and a little less upper mids and treble forwardness.
Wow... I guess I'll be short $1000 soon....@@TheHonestAudiophile

Exactly 💯
I have this IEM and with some track(most than not) creat the effect that apple might be trying with spacial dolbby for airpods.
Thanks for the impression.
and for those that love sharp edges on their iems to dig into their ears
it's almost sometimes these companies let 5 years old kids design their iems
Made in Italy. Very nice.

Sorry haven't heard the IER Z1r but once at an audio show about 3 years ago. I don't recall enough to give a fair comparison.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thank you for your answer
@matteosergi7921 my pleasure, you're welcome
Great review. How it does with jpop and femail vocals?
How it compare to the monarch mk2 and mk3?

Moondrop Kato, Tin Hifi P1 Max ThieAudio Elixir would be where I would start.
