  • This video clip is from a Q&A video we did where a viewer who identified as a believer in Christ asked us if we could pray for them to be happy with the Lord even if they are gay, bisexual or transgender. In this video we tried our best to answer the question with love, compassion and truth through what the Bible says in regards to this topic and the viewer's question.
I hope this video can encourage those who might be struggling with same sex attraction to know that there is freedom in Jesus Christ. This video is not to condemn but rather to bring light to the Truth of God's word and encourage all of us (regardless of our sexual desires and inclinations to sin) to surrender all of our being, including our sexual inclinations and desires to Jesus Christ.
If you come to Jesus as a person who is struggling with same sex attraction, please know that just like every other sin we struggle with (whether it is pride, envy, jelousy etc.) we can not overcome it on our own, we need to get closer to Jesus daily through prayer and reading of the Bible so that the Holy Spirit can empower us to live a life in accordance with God's word. Through our own strengths we can not overcome sin, but through the power of the Holy Spirit we can because Jesus already won victory over sin on the cross. 👇
    Galatians 5:24-25
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
    IMPORTANT:
And if you are watching this video and have never accepted Jesus into your heart, understand that Jesus loves you so much that He died for you, and rose from the grave so that whoever believes in Him will not go to hell but have eternal life. Only in Jesus will you find true love, freedom, peace and salvation. To come to Jesus we do not need to think that we are sinless but rather we need to admit and acknowledge that we are sinners before Him, so that we can receive His grace and salvation. And when we accept Jesus into our hearts as our Lord and Savior, He makes us justified before the Lord and through Him we can now have a relationship with God.
    John 3:26-21 (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Hi everyone! Hope this video shines light on this topic through the Word of God which is God’s standard for our lives. As Christians we all may struggle with different sins, which we need to ask the Holy Spirit to help us overcome. So if you are experiencing same sex attraction as a Christian, do not be ashamed about it but rather talk to someone you know that is Christian who can pray and help you through it. The minute we stay quite about our struggles the enemy can take advantage and leave us to feel shame and guilt to the point that we are too ashamed to go to God for help. We must admit we are struggling so that the Lord can help us and surrender all of our struggles, desires and sinful ways to Him so that He can transform us and make us right with the Father. God will not reject you and He loves you ❤🙏🏼

I am Christian and queer so yes you can be both ❤. God told me that love can never be misdirected but it can be misinterpreted. God still loves me and I've been happy with my relationship with God. Seek first the kingdom of God, he takes care of everything else. I'm not a testimony to say that I'm not queer, because I am, I still experience same sex attraction and have been in love with people of the same sex but it's not something I'm ashamed of anymore. God is very loving and merciful and he is using me to show other queer people that you can come to God as a queer person and he will indeed accept you and give you so much more to base your life and identity on than just your sexuality. It plays such a small role in God's purpose for our lives, he loves us regardless and Jesus was in the business of being attentive to those ostracized in society, and in present day that is us, the LGBTQ community. A community with the intent of love and God sees that, and he shows you a love that is so much greater than any church can ever translate. So if you've been stigmatized by a church, just know that God is not the church. God is love. True love and God loves us, as queer people and He will gladly use you for his greater purpose when you come humbly before Him ❤️

Hi, God bless you! An important thing to understand is that God is who the Bible says He is not simply who we want Him to be- He is love, mercy and also just like His word makes it clear that He is. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and same sex romantic/sexual relationships is one of those sins. As a follower of Jesus, we can not continue living in a lifestyle of sin after accepting Jesus since He died for us to be free from the sin that enslaved us. Also the Bible states that those who deliberately live a lifestyle of sin judgement will await:
      Hebrews 10:26-29 (New Living Translation)
26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?”
We can not simply accommodate Jesus and His word and commandments to our own desires for Jesus says that we must obey Him and follow His word if we are truly His disciples, despite how we may feel we must obey Him:
      John 8:31-32 (NLT)
“Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.””
