Totally feel for ya with this situation. I once was applying for a job at a big car manufacturer and not having much automotive experience I thought it was a good idea to share an idea I'd had. I didn't get the job, but I did see my idea get implemented on one of their prototype cars at a motor show 9 months later. Exactly as I'd described and drawn in my application.

Legally speaking they didn't rip you off, but ghosting you is a dick move and unprofessional. They probably wanted to work with you but then needed to cut expenses and figured "if some guy online can do it anyone can" which is when they should have told you something along the lines of "due to unexpected circumstances we will not be able to continue our partnership with you" as a curtasy.
As someone who's worked for shitty indecisive and inconsistent management, I feel like the person in the marketing dept suggested you to work with them, their immediate boss said "yup, reach out to him", then the immediate boss told big boss about the plan and big boss said "why waste money paying the guy? Just make some ourselves.".

The ad was for an avocado baby carrier, a floating tortia chip to hold an avocado, a bike helmet for an avocado and a sleeping bag for an avocado with a mini matching suit case. You didn't create any of these products. If these are ripping off your products then just about everything you create is just a rip off of someone else's product. I understand being annoyed that they approached by them only to get ghoted and find they came up with their own ideas but that doesn't mean you have the right to accuse people of ripping off your ideas.
