Ty. I watch your videos over and over again. I can't believe we finally have someone who knows cmps. (trigger points) and how to treat them correctly. I suffered with this muscle disorder for years. I will never get better, but you have shown me better ways to approach it and when to strengthen and stretch...

+Wizard of Health Doesn't your neck hurt when you lay on your side like that with your head up like that? I can't use any weights yet. I have both shoulders with impingements along with many other injuries but I'm sure the trigger points caused everything that is wrong with me. I am doing that shoulder open and close standing up with no weights.

+Wizard of Health one of these causes horrible pain in my right side of my chest. I been massaging the chest area now. With me you just never know what is okay to do. I have tp's all over. I hope you show lower body tp's and exercises for knees, feet, low back. I love your videos. :)

When I use the elastic band to the side, I get sort of an impingement feel, like a little tingling in pecs and down arm. Any solution or what I should do to correct this? Great video!!

The worst thing to do for a trigger pointed muscle is make it work. Its like exercising your mouth if you have a cracked lip. Seriously.

you make a great point Gordon. Most of my patients have their trigger points addressed first before starting any strengthening or stretching exercises. This video is specifically for strengthening after addressing the trigger points themselves. I find that all too often, one stops at just trigger point therapy when in fact strengthening provides additional benefits. I go over that in my article at wizardofhealth.net/muscle-pain/shoulder-trigger-points/
