The male and female leads in Arifureta is another good example. The show is pretty generic isekai trash power fantasy, but the main couple and a few other side characters keep it interesting.

7:25 Miyamura actually bakes, most of the cakes and breads he brought to the Hori household are actually made by him. If I remember correctly in the manga it was said that the cakes played a part on why the Hori household likes him.

The reason I like this show so much is because the mains have personality. Hori especially has some quirks.

@@rajdip_k In the manga, Sota did NOT catch them. But he did find one of Miyamura's earrings in Hori's bedroom and approached Miyamura with it. In the webcomic version (before the printed manga), Sota heard their activity.
Not in the manga, but in the webcomic, Souta overheard the entire session from his room and asks Izumi about it afterwards. The anime only shows the end of that conversation.
That doesn't do any good to put spoilers at the end!
If you think Hori's a freak now, just wait. You're going to learn things about her that you never imagined.

The reason why miyamura had the talk with hori's little brother sota is because sota heard their voice while they were making out on 1st floor , they cut a lot of content in the anime and this is one of those , u need context before that conversation, thats why miyamua asked him cause little bro got traumatized by what he heard from the floor above him 😓😖😂
The reason why Yuki asked Izumi for help baking is because he knows how seeing as his family runs a cake shop which was said 2 episodes ago
YAY! Next Horimiya is out! So glad to y'all react to this one. This show seriously gets better and better with every episode. Please react to the second season after this; it's called Missing Peices because it has practically ALL the missing manga content from the show.
The sota scene makes more sense in manga because he hears them having s*x so he assumes something
And hori pranks Miya by saying that she missed her periods and is pregnant(they did it without condoms)

yes they did had s3x xDDD , and thats one of the huge reasons why this anime is just one of the best romcom anime out there , this is just so much more real life stuff than average romcom , usually in normal romcoms u will see them taking 20 episodes just to hold hands and 50 episodes like to kiss xD and its gonna stay there forever it doesn't go further away , meanwhile here its progressing way more naturally and from every stage , its TOP

The love triangle between Toru, Yoshikawa and Sakura had me so invested back when I read the manga omg. I thought I was supporting both of them equally until we got to who actually won. That's when I realized I was subconsciously rooting for one over the other. Still makes me a lil sad.

I think the dynamic between toru, sakura and Yuki are interesting. That's because sakura (pink flowers) blooms in the spring and yuki (snow) happens in the winter. So essentially toru has to pick his favorite season.

Every character in this anime and their interpersonal relationships are so well written, that's why Horimiya is probably my #1 for romance/slice of life animes. I like how it's not just focused on main characters and their life only.
Yuki's character is so relatable and it's a small thing which almost goes unnoticed but when Toru takes yuki's cupcakes and she reaches her hand to prevent him, he notices all the bandages on her fingers and instantly eats it without thinking twice just shows how great of a friend he is as well.
The book analogy was so spot on and such a pleasant surprise to see it was properly understood on first watch

I definitely liked season one more than season two. There’s an episode in season two that made me dislike Hori.

Then it’s revealed that she had been doing one of those things into her teens, when she should’ve stopped doing it when she was six or seven. Of course it’s played off as a joke - because ANIME.
