At this point I still had all with every current spell learnt Shadow included ALL at LEAST LV 30 (I had lv 50 to 55) party members by now.
The BEST TEAM to TAKE to the Floating Continent in a LOW LEVEL RUN(Or ANY RUN really) would be "Gau", "Mog", and "Strago". BOTH Gau and Mog can make QUICK WORK of the IAF Enemies with Gau's "Guard Leader" rage and Mog's "Wind Rhapsody" Dance(WIND SLASH!) abilities. Strago can be a HEALER with "White Wind" or you can use "Cura" with one of them. NOTE that the IAF BOSS Enemy HAS a STEAL on him and it's the "Missile Bay" you wanna STEAL from! He has the "Debilitator" which is a NEW TOOL for Edgar! Also, the "Ultima Weapon" BOSS enemy HAS a VERY VALUABLE STEAL(SAVE BEFORE you FIGHT this GUY and MAKE SURE you MAKE SEVERAL BACKUP SAVES ON the Floating Continent RIGHT BEFORE this Boss Battle(THERE is a MAJOR REASON for THIS!)! For this reason, bringing Locke is a GOOD IDEA(DO NOT bring "Celes"! She will AUTOMATICALLY come here after you defeat Ultima Weapon so you'll have 4 characters again!)! You can STEAL a VALUABLE "Ribbon" from "Ultima Weapon"!
Now, WHY did we MAKE SEVERAL BACKUP SAVES??? Because, this NEXT BIT is WHERE EVERYONE(And I MEAN EVERYONE!) ROYALLY SCREWS UP! A. SAVING SHADOW! As Follows!
1. To GET the LAST ORB Chest before "Nelapa", get it from the RIGHT(NOT the LEFT!) side!
2. After you DEFEAT Nelapa(Locke's Hawkeye is REALLY GOOD here as is Strago's "Traveler" Lore), RUN TO the EDGE but DO NOT JUMP!!! Choose "Wait"!! Run BACK ONE step, and BACK TO the EDGE again! THIS TIME you'll GET a NEW OPTION! CHOOSE "Gotta Wait For Shadow..."! Now, just STAY THERE! DO NOT MOVE or ANYTHING(This INCLUDES entering the MENU!) and LET the clock WIND DOWN! It'll AUTOMATICALLY DISAPPEAR BEFORE the timer runs out and Shadow will join you on your escape! DO NOT LEAVE without him or he DIES!
B. Saving Cid(THIS is tricky too but you CAN SAVE him). Here's how, as follows.
1. Once you have CONTROL of Celes, IMMEDIATELY RUN LEFT or RIGHT OUT to the NEW WORLD MAP and SAVE(The timer doesn't go down while out on the World Map I don't think)! Then, go back in(NOT into the HOUSE though!).
2. You MUST FEED Cid FISH to SAVE him but NOT JUST ANY Fish! There's 4 TYPES: Fish, Just a Fish, A Rotten Fish, and a Yummy Fish. The ONLY ONES you WANT to FEED him are the REALLY FAST-MOVING Fish(This RECUPERATES Cid)! So here is the STRAT, as follows.
3. Go down to the shoreline and LOOK AT the Fish you see(DO NOT GET ANY RIGHT AWAY UNLESS you SEE a REALLY FAST-MOVING Fish!)!. IF there is NO REALLY FAST-MOVING Fish, then GO BACK and TALK TO Cid(This RESETS the "Fish-Spawn")!
4. GO BACK TO the Shoreline again and see if you see any.
5. The TRICK HERE is to ONLY PICK UP the "REALLY FAST-MOVING" Fish and NONE OTHER! BRING EACH ONE of THESE back to Cid!
6. RINSE AND REPEAT STEPS 3-4 as necessary to KEEP HEALING Cid! You MUST FEED HIM the REALLY FAST-MOVING Fish UNTIL he SAYS "I feel much better! Thanks, Celes!"!

@@Bigbabyj30 I meant to say, on the floating island, turn experience earning off, I finish that part on level 20, so to take real advantage of the Esper levelling up bonuses, later on.
