Is there a window option other than the all glass( which is beautiful) , like a slider or arctic turn built into the side panel like the slider option facing the truck cab thanks
Very useful video. I am super interested in your product. Going to make concrete plans to order soon! Can you tell us how long it takes to take delivery after ordering? I'd be getting it installed in a new F-150.
Hey Peter, we have about a 2 month lead time- we are currently filling our January batch, but you can push that out as far as you'd like. Feel free to reach out to sales@tuneoutdoor.com if you have any additional questions!
When you install the MaxxFan for a customer, do you run the wiring from it down to the truck's bed? Or does it sit up there, unconnected? Really appreciate the extrusion's abundant T-track locations, a build-out benefit that potential buyers may not initially appreciate.
We run the wires, and depending on the wiring package you select, you can get a connector that is ready to hookup to whatever battery type you plan to use. Feel free to reach out to sales@tuneoutdoor.com for more information
Is it a concern that the rear lifting mechanism is not secured when you're climbing on to the bed to lift the front? What about with weight on the roof like a rocket box? I wouldn't trust gas struts alone to keep that roof over my head while crawling around, especially in a high wind environment. Is there a solution to this???
I noticed in another couple videos from customers the windows, roof raising and lowering a large amount of harsh squeaking. Funny how small things missing like a handle on the inside over the back tailgate. What was up with the sliding window to the front cab? In another video it looked rather difficult and poorly planned. I have been searching for a while and web page and videos, nothing said about roof construction
Lol, pure attack comment. I've watched every Tune video on internet, none of them have "harsh squeaking", nor does my actual Tune. You don't need a handle on rear, it grabs from side easy, but if you want a handle there is 20ft of t track there to hook one to. The rear slider window is the exact same as every other rear slider ever out into a pickup truck or topper, with no more or less friction than any other one with a rubber wipe seal. Every comment you made was bogus. I wonder which competitor you schill for...
Also, if you looked at all the Tune outdoor videos posted here, you'd see this one on their roof construction: ruclips.net/user/shortsBGbq-ueZtho?si=Rj2D43tXv_X0xb4F
Great walk through, well done!
Appreciate it 🤘
