I've binge about 60 episodes so far, and this is the first time I solved all puzzles in the vid. To be fair, I already knew the second one, but I'm still counting it!!
Any Simpsons mega fan would get the first one instantly... Poor Lisa XD

The first one was really easy. At first I thought the first symbol was an M, and that it either spelled out a word or just went alphabetically. Then I tried to see if it worked numerically and it just hit me that they're mirror images or 1,2,3... You can't fool me this time Brushwood

@@poisonspiders2300 I watched these videos like 5-7 years ago, and I still remember lots of them when they come up, I just cant think of them alone. So I feel like if I was tested I would do very well ;)

Brian Brushwood is a stand up guy, loving family man, and treats friends and fans with respect. Sometimes he even remembers my name when I say hi to him :P
The second was a devilishly cleaver reskin of one I've been pulling for years and totally got me. Reinvented the wheel and ran me over with it.
I was so proud of my self' when I got this one in literally 3 seconds 😂 yasss
Did anyone else notice that the couple (mostly the woman) were huge airheads? You could see the frustration in Brian's face, lmao.

Kelby Brewer Why take it so personally if you're the one pointing out the fact that IQ is an immutable fact and not a character trait. Stating an immutable fact is not the same thing as an insult. The fact that they're not "the thinking type", just is. That's not rude. If he said "these fucking people are retards!" Then I'd totally agree with you, but that's patently not the approach that we see.

First one was quite easy, I was so close to the second one, but I just couldn't.
The thing was 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 the answer 9

Is it me, or the second one is finite? I mean that after a number of line, the answer is always the same. Ex:
24132231
14233221
14233221
etc...

Your sequence and his are different starting on the 5th line.
1231 is correct because there was one 2 and three 1's on the line above it.
Yours is referring to reading each part separately. One one followed by one two followed by two ones.

Brian I just want you to know that I always watch your commercial breaks, no skipping, and enjoy them.
I always started the description with the highest-value number, then worked my way down.

After meeting me all of one time, Brian Brushwood offered me crash space at his place if I wanted to go to SxSW. And he meant it. So I stayed there, along with some other really awesome people. True story. He's a genuinely great guy.

Figured out the first one, second one legit fooled me. Love it.
paused the second one thinking I saw something and only took me a minute to figure out. first one of your tricks I've been able to figure out xD
I was never describing it left to right. I was describing the quantity of each numeral, always starting with the highest value and ending with the lowest value.
Got both quickly :)
Brian helped me solve the second one when the guy said "clearly you have to add..." and he laughed, then i realized it had absolutely no math.
I personally like these videos better than your card trick videos for scamschool, the likelihood of you having something to write with is much higher than to have a deck of cards on the off hand. Also, you could just decide that you are running low on cash, and break out one of these puzzles without them seeing any previous intention. Bravo!

Oh man, that second one pissed me off haha. I was a math major in college so I was trying all these different things and nothing was coming together. Well played, Brushwood.
BB is the greatest guy in the world. Would happily give one of his kidneys to every Twitter follower if he could, or at least get everyone to agree to a sharing rotation. He also gave a lung to my puppy, and that was just as a chew toy when it board.

Got the first puzzle almost instantly as I was counting how many patterns there were, the second puzzle almost gave up after five minutes and it just hit me, :)
I am very, very proud of myself for getting the second one. As I was re-writing it and double checking my work, I saw the pattern.

The first thing I did was count how many symbols were drawn and as I was counting it made it easy to see that those symbols were just the numbers and their mirror image side by side lol.
*whew* ...that was a close one. :-)
The 2nd puzzle is a basic data compression technique, which is only effective if you have a large number of the same digit in a row. The technique preserves order though, so it would be 1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, 312211, 13112221, 1113213211... and you never get a digit higher than 3... so geeking out right now...

I was able to figure out the second one... after you said that each line was a discription of the one above... Can't wait to bust some of these out in April when I turn 21 :D
I got the first one in practically 2 seconds, but it's a good puzzle.
I never really liked scams or scamming people, but then I watched this episode of scam school and I am hooked. I even bought both of Mr. Brushwood's ebooks jut now. He's that awesome. Even more awesome than Blackwater by the Doobie Brothers. Impossible, you say? The Doobie brothers never saved a puppy from a zombie Hitler. Mr. Brushwood has. Twice.

the first one, after like half a second (5:52) you took out that thin paper, i jumped back to around 2:53 and figured the thing out.
the second, i got it right as you finished saying "above it". Got soo upset i couldn't get it. oh well, you got me again Mr. Brushwood

the 2nd puzzle i know it from highschool, our math teacher showed it to us a few years ago to test our logic. it`s a really funny one tbh. no one expects the solution.
Both of the puzzles was much easier then the previous puzzles!!

It seems like so long since I watched an episode of scam school that I actually watched the ads...
In the intro it sounds like " scout school meow meow, scout school meow meow " well at least to me
i wanna say im being 100% truthful on the first puzzle i solved it and i write down everything as brian did and didnt get any of it wrong at all
