Great video... thank you so much for your efforts to clear our doubts n questions...
I don't know why ppl dislike videos, specially videos like these with some information... if one can't appreciate others efforts then they shouldn't discourage them...

This is why you are so amazing!! So many fantastic ideas jammed into one video. Now I totally regret throwing all those negatives away. I knew there was something that could be done with them but I just had to idea what. You are a genius.

Simon gave a good suggestion. He uses a resealing mat and a rotary cutter to trim around item you want to foil. It is easier than trying to trim with scissors.

The toner paper is a great way to use up scrapes from different projects too! If you got an empty stamp pad and refilled it with toner you could then use the toner as ink and use any stamp you wanted to.

Hi Jennifer first of all I want to thank you for your video lots of great information here.... I'm going back in time but bear with me for a while now I have toyed with the idea of buying the spellbinders glimmer plate I've gone back and forth back and forth back and forth finally today I went to Hobby Lobby just to look at the hot plate dies that they had they were very few and far between so I have decided that I'm going to go home and put my neck to use I've never really done this and I've always wanted to put it just beside my die cutting machine and just making a work horse and now I think that time has come so I appreciate you keeping this older video out there it's for all those Crafters out there who still like the old tools thank you for putting out quality material have a great day

I bought a Scotch laminator for foiling and have not been happy with the results at all. I'm so glad Heidi Swapp now has the mini Minc, since I only need the 6" opening. The price will be easier on my craft budget than the full size Minc. Once I get a laser printer, I'll be good to do. Great video, Jennifer! I always enjoy your product demonstrations. Thanks!

I am so in love with foiling! I did however buy a Minc from another in the industry, and I wish I had waited! Mine doesn't have the adjustable heat! But there was great info here that I can use! As always it's always a thumbs up video. I do admire the community of caring and love that this industry shows. ❤️

This is exactly the video I needed to decide what would work best for me! I have tried having copies made at local office stores but it has been hit or miss depending on the employee as to what quality was used when printing the images even though I was very specific with my instructions and some would not print on 100# cardstock. It really affects the coverage of the foiled images for those of us that do not have a laser printer at home and can be why results are so different from yours. I found the Heidi Swapp papers before viewing this video and have had great success with them! I really appreciate the information you share and find it invaluable! For someone like me who just loves foiled images I feel comfortable making the investment in the Minc because of how much I would use it! The quicker heat up time and different settings make it more versatile than the laminator I currently have. Thank you so much Jennifer!

i realize this is an older video but i am currently watching so maybe someone else will read, i got the smaller minc which runs around 80 dollars us, from hsn.com for 38 dollars along with a ton of bundled supplies, like diecuts to foil and lots of foil and glitter sheets. the extras were worth more than i paid. but, i find i use my cheap laminating machine more often. i tend to only use the minc when i need the heat for the glitter sheets and the minc has the different heat settings.

I think your videos are great.. They are well planned, organized, Inspirational and very informative. This machine looks like it works really well and could be a nice alternative to a laminator. it isn't perfect, however, which is apparent at 14:47 - ironically right at the point you are saying you have "never had a problem" and "you get a perfectly foiled die cut". it looked as though there were small spots on the d that were not covered well and show the black coming through. It was a little difficult to examine because it is covered by your thumb. it might have been a good opportunity to show some troubleshooting techniques for when it does not foil perfectly..

Tomorrow I will be buying some Heidi Swapp foil stuff....Thanks for sharing, Jennifer... Love you girl

THANK YOU for this video. I watched another video that I actually paid for (Anna _______) and was so disappointed that I popped over to RUclips and found my ole pal, Jennifer. You explained how to use the Minc so well that I would run into my craft room and try something but it is after midnight! :0) Morning will come soon enough. Also, I love the way you used your negative space and stamps, etc. Somewhere, I picked up the idea that you would only use the minc with black paper. How wonderful that I can use my stamps and Ranger's Sticky Powder. I was almost afraid of my minc - not any more!

Do you know if you can use stick-it on the back of the die cuts and still put it through the minc (or laminator)? I was wondering if the heat would destroy or smush the adhesive out the edges, etc when run through the machine(s).
