Thanks for tuning in, everyone! I'm so happy that this video finally got off the ground! I've been trying for 18 months to get an interview of sorts greenlit. All it took was Cameron and Jason leaving Activision... who woulda thunk it? For those who didn't watch until the end: Next up is a Leftovers video or two. After that, I'll get back to work on my Buried review, then resume work on my Shadowed Throne music video and finally, an in-depth tutorial on how I make the renders for my thumbnails. I know that last one won't be something everyone is interested in, but I've gotten SO many requests for something like this over the years.
Holy crap after hearing just what lexify said about WW2 zombies I just pushed it off as another Exo or IW bad excuse for a mode but goddamn this interview was so enthusiastic that I want to REALLY try WW2 zombies now. Thanks Rizzo 👍
Man if this team got a second chance it could've been something really magical. Nazi Zombies II would be pretty cool if done right , imagine all the create-a-class elements just amped up in a true sequel sense. God we can only dream.
I was so invested in their talk of world building in games and how it isn't always a single issue related to few people and that WW2 was an international global effort and how it got intergrated into Nazi Zombies. That and the thoughts and beliefs and philosophy the Nazis had that helped shaped the lore and Experimentation commited by them in the game mode. That was really interesting. Thanks for this interview Rizzo. And you too Jason and Cameron.
Thank you for uploading this Rizzo! Hearing about some of the design choices was really interesting. This zombies mode was truely amazing and I wish it would continue...

When WW2 zombies released, I absolutely hated it, but after seeing how much the devs cared about it and how much love they put into making everything, I’ve grown an appreciation for sledgehammer. I actually really want to see what they could do after everything they’ve learned from exo zombies and WW2 zombies
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen on this platform simply because I love seeing Game Developers being able to talk with fans and say “Oh yeah this is how this was made” and “We wanted to do this-“ and makes me realize how much hard work these people put in these games even for a side mode. Amazing job Rizzo! Do you ever think there could be a part two in the future? Because it was awesome to watch this while unlocking the last few hidden characters.
