    I learned alot from watching the time lapse. Building looks awsome completed. Amazing thats the Building was assembled almost all the way, then the posts and floor concrete was done.

    Great proyect! How much do you roughly spend in a barn of that size if you don't mind my asking?

    Looks great. Just wondering why you chose to go with 2 doors on that side rather than one big one.

    Concrete guys could have done a better job. Look at the concrete splashes on the pouch

    I am looking to build the same thing. Mind me asking what I’ll be looking at paying to have this done? Just building and concrete rough estimate. I’ve got a few companies coming out.

    14:04 - with your sped up/time lapse, one can really see the building moving in the wind. It looks like they had to pull it with the pick up to get it plumb at one point too.

      Good eye!! That was a scary day. I saw it moving a lot because the north wall was acting like a sail on a boat. It was catching all the wind. I had them go out and hook their truck up with a tow strap to pull it south. Then they put diagonal anchors into the ground to stabilize it. It worked, luckily and no more issues. Very square. We were lucky.

    How many people have to ask before you do a price breakdown? Simple things like this make some of us hold off on subbing or patronizing.

    Can you share your cost for the initial build?

    I’m doing the exact same size. Mind if I ask how much you paid for it? I plan on doing a lot
    Of the work but I also don’t have a lot of time.

    Your garage looks nice. We’re building a 40x56 in the same exterior colors as yours. We will also have 16 foot sidewalls. Have you noticed any moisture dripping from the ceiling with changing outside temperatures.

      @ChadWilliamsFixesAll  Год назад

      So if you are doing a steel roof like me, make sure you or your contractor get that felt backed steel that has the moisture barrier. With that, you can lay the steel right on the 2x4s and have no dripping.

    Wow a separate meter for your electric?

      Yep! I didn’t want to piggyback off my house electric. So separate meter and bill.

    Terrible grading. No compacted gravel or vapor barrier under the slab? Literally pouring on grass. Building damn near blew over. Metal blew off. Porch concrete splatter all over the new metal. 4 diagonal braces for a building that size is laughable. What a cluster of a build.

      I’ve built a few barns over the yrs. Depending what part of the country you live in. Some area’s don’t need much ground prep. Yes everyone builds differently but I don’t think it’s terrible. If he is happy and that’s all it matters.

    I’m really sorry to say your contractor is a total amateur. No idea about building code undersized timber beams straight into the ground wow…..April fool 4 days to build and enclose until then it’s a kit waiting to take off. Rough rough work

    With Pole barns or garages whatever you want to call them. What is the highest wall you could purchase? I've asked other people but no one seems to let me know. Please comment back. I would do a 40 by 60 myself but I want high walls because I wanna do what A laugh to put stuff up on and have a car left underneath it. Please let me know thank you
