I grew up very close to Wawa PA, and remember driving by the farm in the 60's and always admiring it. Basically, I was able to watch Wawa grow all these years up to and including now. I am a cult member. Last time flying into South Florida I drove directly to the nearest Wawa despite having to listen to my wife whine at me, and of course got a hoagie (Italian of course) for the car ride to Naples. Living in Ecuador now, I will jump at any chance when in the states to visit this classic.

I've been with Wawa for 13 years. Howard was the CEO when I started. He really helped make Wawa what it is today! Our current CEO, Chris Gheysens is great, but Howard really was a LEGEND!

Quaker roots: honesty, integrity, and patience. Noteable for course of the company set via *convincement*, just as many of us join the RSoF.
Perhaps the next leap is to accomplish prosperity without growth. If anyone can do it, Friends can.
