Pureland Buddhism is like Christianity - believing in “Other Power.” Christianity believes in a God through Jesus. Pureland believes in Amitabha Buddha to enter the Pureland. Most people will leave their bodies before the moment of death. The body will continue its dying process without the soul but the soul will not be there. Thought and existence will also continue throughout the process. You will become a spectator.
