I work in a glass shop and tempered glass is a lot tougher but if it breaks it will shatter into a million pieces unless it’s tinted the best glass to use for a peel board is laminated glass, if it does break or crack it will still stay all in one piece just a little advice
Hey man thanks for watching and checking out the video. I greatly appreciate the kind words. I'm just trying to do what I can to help out my customers.
I got it from a local glass shop. I think it's 32x36. Plexi will dull your blade and will get cut into leaving marks just ruing it. Thanks for watching.
Man I gotta give you some mad props for this...i used this setup for the first time today, total game changer for me. I used vicegrips on the middle bar and loctite on all the bolts. I also put locking wheels on mine and painted the back of the glass white. So much better then peeling on the car. Thank for the great tip man!!!
Hey I'm glad it's working out for you. I've been using mine all the time as well. I think I might need to buy another, since it's getting banged up from all its travels ha ha. I'm happy I was able to help you out. 👍🏾
Hey that's awesome..I use it my all the time. Remember lock tight all the screws right away. Also the round feet threads on the bottom. Use a vice grip instead of the twist knob to the hold up the back and you should be good. I might order another just in case they stop making them 😂 Get your tint on.. Hopefully soon I'll have more videos.
Thanks a million brotha! purchased it thru the link. This was the last piece i needed to be able to tint professionally! I already bought my truck now im almost ready to go
Hey I hope it helps. I'd Loctite all the bolts and use a vice grip on the part that extends and you'll be all good. Still using mine all the time. Good luck with things. 👍🏾
@@OmarLopez-jh5kt well that depends..I do mobile when it's worth it but I still tint out of locations and I prefer that. I'm not 100% Mobile but I will go to a customers location. I got some tempered 1/4" thick glass with enough room to do a set of fronts. I can do visors and such just stick them and hang down the be. I'd definitely use a set of Vice Grips to hold it up and Loc Tite all the screws. Then you'll be good to go. 👍🏾 Appeciate it!
I hope I could help. I do a ton of mobile and my stand works really well. Either way a board it would cut on is a Mustang. Don't want to scratch any glass
I think the aluminum might be a little aggressive on the window tint if it stared to get rough. Also it would probably eat blades like crazy since it's not a smooth surface. I'd use PLexi glass before I used anything metal or close.
Is it normal for the glass to be loose after it’s in the easel? Also, when you take it on the road, do you remove the glass before you load it in your truck or leave it on? Thanks. Stay Faded All! ✌️
I mentioned the size of the glass.. 32"high and 38"s wide. Yes you can just find anything that available but I orderd mine from a glass company so it would fit right on this Easel. This one it Tempered, the last one was thinner but I tinted it with safety film and it still broke. I have a video today that one linked.
Fade To Black LLC Great video! Did you order 1/4 inch glass or 3/16? - We have a local glass shop I work with so I have no problem getting anything custom.
@@arturorodriguez1680 I think it's 1/4 tempered. Did you see my other video? I broke the Glass because something pushed on the glass while I was heading to a job. I got tempered this time.
Fade To Black LLC Yes., thank you. I’ll get 1/4 tempered. I’ll try to find those rubber edge protectors to put around the edges. I’ve broken glass like that too., by bumping the corners into something else. Thanks again!
Will this be compact enough to fit in the back seat of a car/sedan? Or can it be disassembled easily? In the amazon description it says it’s 84” h that’s why I’m hesitating hoping that’s the max and will fold or compact to smaller size?
If you can fold down the rear seat then yes.... It can be taken apart but that is kind of a PITA to remove the screws and pull it apart. The very top part can just be removed and slipped out.. The part on the very top of my glass in the Thumbnail.
Yes, I'm not using Plexiglas? Watch the video or read the comments and you'll be on the page. I've also made a couple of videos on how you need to be careful because it's easy to break these glass boards moving them all over. I've broke a couple 🤷🏾♂️ Have a good one 👍🏾
How much do you honestly make per month doing mobile and how do you get your clients? I just wanna know before I spend thousands on a mobile set up... thanks man
I did this for 6 years on the side and 4 years full-time so I'm pretty established at this point. I'm not 100% mobile. I will go do Mobile for certain businesses that I work for. So how much you'll make depends on a lot of factors. Add up some jobs and see how much you'll need to be comfortable in a week. At the moment I'm booked out till the second week of February. So I'll fill in small jobs when I can. My market and prices will be very different than yours.

What do you have or use to hold tint rolls for tinting front and back window by your self

Can you use plexie glass instead of real glass or will the plexie glass get cuts on it ?
You already said it, the Plexi will get cuts from the blade. You can use it but that will happen.

It's 56"s with the top part slid out.
