I made one of these a few months ago. I'm doing tinting on the side starting out to make extra money and didn't want to spend alot. I used a old storm door window for mine and used 2x4s and a pallet them put wheels on it. I used angle brackets from lowes that have the hook to hold the rods to hang cloths to hang my roll of film and pull it down then lay it right to the glass for dub let cuts.
you can use the class 2 times, by turning the same class around and use the otherside. its cheaper. we also do that, and these things are very handy, when you do a sedan, and need to headschrink the film.
Where did you get the tracks? I’ve been walking around Home Depot for two hours like a moron looking for them. Any idea what they’re specifically called? I’m gonna have walked all over the store about to pull my hair out
You talk about the plate glass not being as safe. What are your thoughts on installing security film on the back side of the glass just to help with it if ever did get hit or damaged, the security film will help hold it all together?
could you possibly give me an itemized list for everything you bought? I would really like to make this and want to price it out! Thank you in advance!!!
Thanks. I'm in awe of watching your videos. Here in France, the tinted glass culture is very different. We have few independent. In addition to you in the United States many work at home in their garage.
Is plate glass better than temper glass? I tried to switch side yesterday holding with both hands in the middle. Boom down million pieces on the ground and had minor cut on my arm.
Thanks Ralph. I have a customer works at the glass company I pay him bout $100. To deliver to me. 48”x72” His company throw away some minor Imperfections. We can use as peel board. Plus save them the cost of throwing away.by the way. I watch lot of your video. I like the double snap. I use it daily.
Sexy looking peel board👌....more modest alternative I like are large office white boards are awesome (tilting & on wheels)....but a old aluminum framed slide doors from demo yards are great too (FB or IG@ PJ custom window tinting)

Good job!
Hello. What size does your glass make? thank you ans good job 👍🏽👍🏽
It is roughly 4ft x 6ft.
Thanks. I'm in awe of watching your videos. Here in France, the tinted glass culture is very different. We have few independent. In addition to you in the United States many work at home in their garage.
What s thickness ?
Tint a piece of the security film on the other side to keep glass from breaking
Good suggestion 👍

Tempered glass is much better. Plate glass is cheaper.

What’s the thickness bro
Do you have blueprints ??
WINNING!!!
Nice!!👍🏽👍🏽
where did you get the glass from ?
Porters auto glass in Carrollton, Georgia.
What keeps the glass from moving within the tracks? Just the weight of it? In other words, how does the glass not move when cutting on it?
MattNotFromTintStuff
It can slide but you have to push it real hard. Does not move just to cur on it.
What is the track called that you got at home depot?
irish4life8911
Good question. I do not remember the name but it seems like it cost me 18 dollars per track.
I work for Lowes and what you are looking for is a mirror support item #197443 should be close to the wall mirrors in the home decor section.
@@rusmokin Thank you so much I’ve been running around Home Depot like a moron looking for these things for hours. Off to Lowe’s
