Why not pay your mechanic and only your doctor?Your life is at stake too. The problem is they get paid by the hour no minutes.
They don't charge you for the simple work. They charge you for the years of learning, and experience they have, that makes the work simple. But hey, if you think it's easy, do it yourself, and don't pay the mechanics.
Did this today on my Wife's 207 1.4 petrol. Easy job and the biggest PITA was the removal and fitting of the arch liner.
Yeah that's the most tedious part !

Thank you so much... I got stranded on the highway and I had to DIY this job by myself. I never worked as a mechanic lol but I just like to tinker with tools.
And I barely arrived at a repair shop and the guys said they have no time to help me. I decided to remove the old belt (which was pulverized) and I asked the guys to at least order a new one for me and I will install it. Today the new belt will arrive and I need to install it. Your video looks simple enough and I hope I will be able to install it properly. Thank you soooooo much!!!!

@@screwsnutsandbolts well unfortunately my Peuget Boxer has a totally different system and also has got TWO belts, a big one and a smaller one. Unfortunately the shop which I ordered from gave me only the small belt between AC and power steering so now I have to wait for a mechanic to bring me the big belt and install it himself (because is a more difficult process). But thanks anyways for the video, I was hoping it will be so simple :(
Box end wrench. Not a “spanner “. And you can change direction on this belt.

What happens if we use a Stretch belt in the place of a normal serpentine belt?? Like installing a stretch belt with tensioner.
I don't know to be honest, I only stick with the recommended belts for each vehicle.
