    I echo Trains 21's comments! Really enjoyed this one. Take care in the snow and cold. From the much warmer southwest:-)

    Wow, you really notched up your production quality.. I enjoyed the whole show start to finish.. My compliments to you, your drone and your friends for braving such harsh weather to put this together for all of us.. I know that lake effect weather and snow ALL TOO WELL! In fact, I just left a comment on a video that 'Wide World of Trains' put out a few days ago outlining my experiences with NW PA and Northern Ohio.. A Nightmare to say the least.. Back to the video, the commentary, visuals and editing brought the whole thing together nicely.. And the drone shots were like watching a model railroad.. Good stuff!!

      +Trains21 Thank you so much for the kind words! As much as I hate this weather, I’d take this over a landscape with no snow and no leaves on the trees.

    Nice shots! This was probably my worst executed chase on the FP&E on record but the snow wasn't helping lol. Looks like I found my way into 4:34 and 12:21. Also C64 more than likely worked Nova** as he picked up 4 cars there, noticed how c64 cars change from 15:11 to 17:37. That probably explains why we c64 shunted his train back and then switched when we checked Hardy Road. Still a solid video overall considering I haven't chased on the former FP&E in nearly 2 years.
    **HERE IS ONE UNIT OF AN EDIT. Apparently c64 services Nova chemical not Avery and that the Eastern branch may still be in use (Not a fact but plausible until I do my independent research). That right there is why we had to wait almost an hour and why C64 had 3 more chemical cars on it during the timeframe and why there are times that Ive had to wait for C64 to appear when filming at Hardy Road.

      +Lake Erie Railfan Thanks! I felt it was a good day nonetheless. Looking back, we did pretty well and I was happy with what we got. Makes me excited to see how we will do in the summer.

      Lake Erie Railfan I chase the Fp&e local all the time and grand river railroad all you need is a scanner

    • @lakeerierailfan7140
      @lakeerierailfan7140 5 лет назад

      @@fairportrails107 Yea I have 3 scanners. I only use 2 when railfanning, one for road and dispatch and one for EOT transmissions. FP&E has ran quiet for as long as I've railfanned it but Im assuming there is a frequency that is assigned for locals that I don't know about.

      Lake Erie Railfan the one I have trouble getting is grand river railroad because they only run 3 days a week

    • @lakeerierailfan7140
      @lakeerierailfan7140 5 лет назад

      @@fairportrails107 Grand River Runs 160.6500. If you go to Newell Road and hear that frequency calling position and distance go immediately to the yard and if there is nothing there, drive immediately to the Salt Mine. They call out when they are loading salt cars at Morton, thats usually when they do operations. Usually weekdays after 2 is fair game, they normally run only when needed during the week.

    Great Video! Thanks for taking the time and effort in doing a video like this, I have done similar videos and know what is involved in accomplishing a video like this. I subscribed to your channel please subscribe back to mine i plan on adding more videos to mine soon. I am from Erie Pennsylvania and now living in Texas working on a short line railroad as the senior locomotive engineer (i am still a rail fan and am enjoying the both of two worlds). That GP38-2 sounds awesome the Admiral Cab on a 4 axle looks a little odd on a former high hood locomotive. Thanks again now I can enjoy trackside action of my former home area while living in Texas! Thumbs up! Also can I ask what video camera you are using? I plan on purchasing a Sony AX53 soon.

      +Mark Labrozzi Thanks! Your comment was flagged as spam for some reason so I didn’t see it until now. I’ve already been subscribed to your channel for years, and I really enjoy your videos so thanks for the subscription! I use a Panasonic HC-V770 for video and supplementation with a DJI Spark Drone and a GoPro Hero 4 Silver.
