Here's a variant of the Mak Scud. Scuds are crustaceans from the order Amphipoda. They possess no carapace and have laterally compressed bodies. Amphipods range in size from 0.039 to 13 inches and are mostly detritivores and/or scavengers. There are more than 9,900 amphipod species. They are mostly marine animals, but are found in almost all aquatic environments.

that little crimp at the end was great and actually made a difference. Whether or not that holds up underwater after a cast is one thing…but hey, who cares. Great stuff, man.

Dreadful noise and no materials used advised. If you put the lead on top of the hook and glue and tie the ends in it will fish hook point up and not snag as bad😢😅
