Tying the BEST AND EASIEST Japanese Beetle Dry Fly.
#flytyingjunkie #fishing #flytying #beetles
Tying the best fishable realistic Japanese beetle. Splat this fly down during the summer and bring up the big boys.
The Japanese beetle (Popillia japonica) is a destructive pest of turfgrass, landscape trees and shrubs, and vegetable and fruit crops. The beetle is a metallic green color with copper-brown Elitra or outer wing.
Japanese beetles are a significant pest in the eastern United States, where they thrive in areas with moderate temperatures and precipitation. The beetles are not considered a pest in their native Japan, where natural predators, parasites, and pathogens keep their numbers low.

The black fade in and fade out is fine because the lure is in the same place of the screen the whole time. When the whole screen suddenly starts rotating or switching between two frames is when it is difficult to watch what you're doing.
