How did you frame this gorgeous sheep

I didn't frame it! The frame shown in the thumbnail photo is a "paste on" digital sticker! Wool painting is quite thick and not the same as painting on paper. Most of my customers who bought my paintings, they brought it to the shop that do frames. The framing shop will know what to do. If you want to frame it yourself, I think there are tutorial to do it online or RUclips. Some suggest using a box frame which have more depth compared to a normal picture frame. 💜

This is beautiful! The softness of the felt creates a wonderful airiness to the art. Love it! 🐑❤

Your needle-felted sheep is absolutely adorable! 🐑 The choice of colors creates a cozy and gentle atmosphere, and the details in the wool texture are impressive. The use of 2D needle felting techniques gives the sheep a lovely, soft appearance. It's like a little ball of woolly happiness! The craftsmanship is fantastic, and the sheep seems to exude warmth and comfort. Wonderful work! 🌟

Thank you so much, I am glad you like it. This sheep was an enjoyable piece to work and he was sold off already and on his way to America! 🐏✈️🇺🇸🥰💜

I love your sheep, question do you sell the outline of the sheep? I would love to do a sheep but I cannot draw, I do quite a lot of shows with my crafts needle felting and I would love to do a sheep picture.

Hi Maria, thank you! Well, I don't sell it but it can easily be done even though you can't draw. Have you seen my latest tutorial on the guinea pig Part 1? There I have taught how to "trace' the outline of your subject directly from your computer screen. Here's the link to that video : ruclips.net/video/AaK2sprE5wA/видео.html
This method is the best I use to teach people as it is the easiest! Go watch that video and let me know if you have further question on the "tracing" method. I will be here to guide you. 🥰💜

Thank you and I am glad you love it! Check out this video, ruclips.net/video/tN863YT4ReA/видео.html .This is how I usually do in most if not all of my paintings. Of course there are others who do it differently. Since I am using a wool canvas, I can't sketch any details in. If you are using cotton or linen fabric, then you can use the tracing method to put on all the details, like painting with numbers! For me, I just "paint" like I am using watercolor if that make sense. 🥰💜

Spectacular! Ty! I Need to try my hand at this again. I love the shading and the 2D felting techniques. I need to explore this more! Could I ask what type of wool you are using to “paint”?

Thank you Tracey for watching! I only use wool batts for my painting. Some artists use wool tops or roving. I prefer batts cuz the fibers in batts are in different direction, hence, they are easier to get felted. 🥰💜
