Probably wasn't VHS. That would be kind of clear in the recording. This was likely taken with a digital camera that had video as an extra feature (or a cell phone camera at the time, a flip phone).
I praise you like crazy for uploading a vid of The Jester! I've been looking for videos of it for years because it is my all time favorite coaster. Sadly, most don't like it as much as i do so there weren't really any videos of it worth watching. It would just be a clip or so. Anywho THANK YOU SO MUCH!
There are plans to and rebuild and open Jazzland again, seems like that will most likely occur. Though of course projects like that fall threw all the time.

It may be a rare credit but its one you could do without. It was just a lazy copy of classic arrow corkscrews, but smoother than those, since it was built in the 90s. The backwards train wasnt too interesting of an effect. I went to SFNO as a kid and i REALLY miss mega zeph tho-an excellent CCI.

Shame they ever moved it. It would've been sweet to still have it at fiesta Texas, provided it'd gotten a "blue hawk" makeover that is. It'd be better than Pandemonium as well, not that i don't like spinning coasters but this versus that, nope. Wouldn't be surprised if they relocated it in the future to la ronde (where cobra got taken out possibly). This ride is just a shame as it was a good beginning to get ex-jazz land taken over by six flags going. It was probably restorable just not worth the money to drop as much money on as they probably did Pandemonium or even wonder woman.

Seems alot like boomerang at knotts, the only difference is jester goes backwards through the whoe ride

JJowner they didn’t abandon it, it was destroyed in hurricane Katrina. Only a few coasters are standing, the whole place is pretty much underwater.
