I was struggling for many years and the first interview from Justin got me into the stage analysis. I read and re-read Stan's book several times and my understanding of markets/stocks improved significantly along with my performance. Justin's twitter feed just reinforces the core concepts on a daily basis. Thank you Richard and Justin for this second interview. You guys contribute a lot to the trading community. Good karma. 🙏🙏
It was a great interview with a lot of practical information, Justin is very good at explaining it in a simplistic way - which Stan Weinstein already did this in his book. Thank you Richard for this one. Great value.
I already read the book but how Justin explains the concepts with additional information here, totally cleared up so many things for me. I was already a subscriber of Justin’s website not knowing that he is the one getting interviewed here. Richard, you are doing a great job with your interviews and also when you give your insights and request your guests to clarify certain concepts, which helps a lot. I recently got interested into this trade and have been following your channel. Thank you! 🙏
Been watching this video now in Sept. 2024.for the first time. Amazing how timeless and how it can be implemented wright away on market conditions that are taking place now. Most intresting for me is observation of some sectors beeing in uptrend aldough bear market can take place. Big thanks on bought of you. Vladimir.
Awesome presentation from Justin, I watched it last night; re watched the first interview from last years this morning an re watched this one again now. Stage analysis day. Thank you to you both for such great content. 👍👊
Awesome video! Thank you for helping me to understand some of the nuances. One quick question I have is, isn't ENPH right now in stage 3? Everyone is going nuts about it, yet i'm looking at the weekly chart, zoomed out, and it looks like textbook stage 3. I guess it could continue in stage 2 if it breaks out to the upside, but I'm skeptical after the big run it had already from 2017 to 2021.
I don't understand the SWN chart at 1:03:51. I see the base, but the stock isn't coming out of a long term downtrend? Also for Netflix, the volume candle showed a few price candles after the breakout? Also not seeing where the 30ma went there
Thanks for the content, pure gold as always! One follow up question, does he really mean sector and not industrygroup? From my understanding Industry group accounts for 37% of a stocks move and the sector another 12%, does he really mean top down, market, then sector, then stock selection? All the best! Kr RD
The U.S. dollar has been the steadiest most profitable alternative trade during this bear market. One of the things I’m going to discuss with is alternative trades with Stage Analysis during bear markets in stocks.
The key to making money in stocks is remaining in the stock market, investors often move in and out of the stock market at the worst possible times, missing out on that annual return.

Excellent stuff. Thanks guys. I bought the stan’s book recently and read it. I think it’s very useful book but my wife saw it’s written in 1988 and asking whether it’s useful for now?? Can someone explain please thanks
I don’t want to see stage analysis grow. I want to be one of a select few who use it. If everyone used stage analysis it would be much harder to make money. Thanks Justin for the tips. Who would you recommend I follow on Twitter apart from your good self in terms of stage analysis? Thanks

Awesome to hear that! Keep working hard!
It means a lot to hear a comment like this thank you!!
Thanks to stan Weinstein. Man who developed this method

Another great interview by Richard, Thank you!!! Great content & examples on stage analysis
Great presentation. Thanks to both of you for your time. Please repeat position sizing and stop loss percentages that you use.

Awesome presentation. These are really good timely reminders of where we are at and how to deal with it.

Thanks glad you enjoyed the interview!
Excellent!
Many thanks!
Can't find the book Stan Weinstein's "Forest To The Trees Approach". anyone know where to find it
It's a section within Stan's book: Secrets for profiting in Bull and Bear Markets
@@RichardMoglen Thank YOU so much!
Great video and very informative! Thank you both so much! One question, I noticed the moving averages were EMA's versus SMA's. is this correct?
Yes I like EMAs since they adjust to recent price action faster. In my opinion, either EMAs or MAs can be used with Stage Analysis.
Awesome presentation
Thanks for watching Carl!

Did anyone try using the stage analysis on a lower timeframe (such as one hour)? What MA length [EMA 34?] would you use it on a lower time frame?

yes it is

Everyone says to buy the breakout only if it has large volume, but how do you know if it'll have large volume or not until it has already broken out?
What's i like about stage analysis is that u don't have to listen to cnbc bloomberg u just have to listen to the tape
for sure!
holy Sh*%t, what a great video. brilliant.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice stag analysis to the point.
Glad you liked it!
very informative and thanks

I am curious how difficult the K-1 is for UUP? How does it compare to a K-1 on an energy MLP?
My only confusion is I've seen 30week SMA and EMA, 40SMA and 200SMA all used for Weinstein's breakouts
Thanks Brother
