Fantastic interview. Ryan is refreshingly honest. One big takeaway: Don't sit around watching intraday action. Go in with a plan and stick to the plan. Thanks for sharing.

Ryan is very fun to listen to, and very informative. I really like that RM let's him talk, and doesn't get in the way too often. Well done guys, thank you!
Brutal honesty, love it! Lots of great tips, especially about shutting out the noise and focusing on good charts, really applies to current conditions. All these pros have a strict rule system in place and always good risk management. Strict action risk management is what has really transformed my trading into a business, I can definitely thank Richard and his guests for engraining it thru my thick skull. Thx again guys!
Thanks a lot Richard for all the knowledge you share with us with all the fantastic guests you interview. It's a life changing to everyone who wants to improve his trading skills. i will surely avoid to make so many mistakes because of your videos. Thanks to every guests you had on your videos
What a great interview. My day trading has been improving, but I've been trying to understand more about the approaches to swing trading. I feel very lucky that this video can serve as part of my base to grow from. Simple, thoughtful and inspiring. Patience and work!
One of the most inspirational video I have seen in a while. Richard I honestly can't thank you enough. I remember I was in a bad state back in June 2020 after I blew up my account which was the second time in last 10 years. Luckily I found you on the same day on RUclips on the day I blew up my account. Since then things have turned around. I have never taken a loss more than 7%. It took me a while to change but I am getting there day by day. Learning from all the tremendous interviews you have conducted. I have been learning everyday. Thanks for teaching us all and introducing me to the the fintwit community you had.
Ryan, Oliver, Matt, Mark and all the other top USIC performs are absolutely amazing in what they do and over this last few years thanks to Richard and TL team we are all able to learn and improve our process. Big thanks to everyone
"The feeling you get when you have like a nice big move and your account's moving, don't let go of that feeling. Remember it in the back of your head because those times are coming again." Great parting thought, Ryan. Great interview, Richard.
This is my most important thing I wrote down that I've been doing as well recently: The main difference between this 2020, and this year and 2021 is that in 2020, the bull market was the driving force behind everything, so you could hold for multi-week moves. However, during these times, you can see multi-hour breakouts or breakouts for maybe 1-5 days that will eventually cave in on themselves. So while selling into weakness might have been a much better tactic for 2020 as stocks would keep moving and you don’t want to cap your profits, in 2021 and 22’, selling into strength at risk multiples such as 1.5:1, 2:1, and 3:1 is a great idea as breakouts have a much higher chance of falling back in this environment.
Such a humble interview, certainly one of the best so far. Ryan’s “never say die attitude” is infectious. Richard your channel is on🔥 Thanks to you both. 👊
This was probably the most refreshing and educational conversation on trading that I have heard to date. I loved this. Subscribed. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi Richard! I’ve watched so many interesting interviews on your channel and would like to thank you for that. Your guests are the most interesting traders who have to share something valuable regarding trading. Moreover, you ask all the right questions. Thanks again and keep on the great work!
Insightful video. I just want to know best how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments. I'm 27, and earn nothing less $150k per year, but nothing to show for it yet.
When people have money, they spend it. And some people spend more money when they have more of it. If you want to improve your financial management, you should consult with a financial advisor.
@@devereauxjnr That's right, you can avoid the traps of lifestyle inflation by consulting an expert advisor to help you plan for your short- and long-term goals; it all comes down to proper guidance. Over the past two years and six months, I have seen my income build wealth and now have a fully paid off house and at least $650,000 in stocks. All this is the result of subsequent investments with my savings and the application of expert advice.
@@user-3456rtu Nice, who is the Financial Advisor aiding you if this is not much i'm asking? my retirement plans are going down the drain with my 401k particularly losing everything it gained ever since 2021.

Another great interview. If there is one thing that you could cover more thoroughly it would be the selling process. Entry process is of interest but when you sell is what makes the profits. Keep up the good work!!
I always enjoy your videos but it's special when someone takes a more light-hearted approach whilst discussing such a wide ranging subject. Great that Ryan has a natural wit! A treat!👍 NoAxe
This interview and the first Ryan interview were great! Really enjoy his methods and processes. Even tried using his single color bars and actually really enjoyed the change
Richard your videos are such an incredible resource, the amount of work you put in is really appreciated. Keep it up! Also Ryan comes across really well, seems like a humble nice guy.
Great Interview again, Rich. Best quote from the interview for me is...."If you want something bad enough, make it happen!". There is a good couple of sentences before this this quote too.
It is such a simple statements, but says so much: “trading every day is not great!” and “the more bored you are, that’s when you know you are doing it well.” This can be so hard to embrace, the amount of patience it takes to let the set up come to you.
Ryan is right: specialize and wait for a high probability setup. The challenge is most people want trading to be a consistent ATM and they take on risky trades. And stay out of a crowded trade. When it seems like everyone is bullish on a particular stock or ETF -- get out. Your best trades will be your scariest trades. Finally, the more we trade the less we make.
