ABOUT DRESSRELIEF
My name is Mariel, and I started getting into fashion in the past few years and am learning so much about it. I'm drawn to fashion as I believe it is an art form that not only allows individuals to express themselves but also creates a history and record of different time periods and generations. I've had a lot of fun learning how to put together outfits and use different styles to tell a story through the way I dress. I started this channel to share what I learn along my fashion journey and hopefully help others learn and find their style as well.
I post videos 1-2 times a week (every Saturday or Sunday!), mostly regarding fashion but may include a few beauty/makeup and lifestyle related videos as well. If you're interested in this content, please give my channel a shot and subscribe! Хобби
Btw, Mina Le recently made some videos on balletcore and the Tumblr girl aesthetic which bring up great points and discussion about the bad parts of these aesthetics that I definitely recommend checking out!
me, micropaleontologist and paleontology teacher, never dressed even close to paleocore a day in my life 👁👄👁
this is an underrated comment 😭😭
In regards to solarpunk I feel like practically is important. This is because it's essentially about living in harmony with nature and also sustainability.
I agree! I'm so indecisive and I can't choose one aesthetic! But I think it's more fun when you have a lot of different styles. I really enjoy learning about different aesthetics. Really adds more "dimension" to me and my style and it's just so fun. I like playing around with new aesthetics and finding out what defines me and suits me the best. Fashion is such a great thing.
Yes it’s so much fun to try new aesthetics!
Im about to go into basic girl spring 😎 gingham matching sets, bright florals, white sneakers, and flowy blouses. It’s time
Hahah love that time of year!
It's so weird living through 'twilightcore' the first time around but I'm loving balletcore, I got into it late last year and it meshes well with dark academia like you said! I also think mixing angel+ballet core would make a pretty nina sayers/black swan look.
I feel the same way about twilightcore haha 😅 ooo angel+core would be so pretty!
Didn’t know about some of these
They’re so cool looking
Coffinwood is my main aesthetic. Would love to see a video about that.
I knew all of these except for one (the last) , and I love all of them. I don’t have any one aesthetic. I made a list one day and listed over 50 aesthetics , and I like all of them.
They're all so cool! My personal favorite out of these is knightcore
I really like knightcore too!!
Can you talk about korean related aesthetic like korea's fashion and everything?
I love Korean fashion so I’ll def add it to my list of ideas :)
these are so cool! Angelcore is so beautiful
Yes i love how ethereal and pretty it is!
YEAHHHH twilightcore!
I love these videos it help in fashion I know my aesthetic. I am French core cottage core and Pop punk. And prepy
hey!! I love this video, could you do Corvid/crowcore? Its one of my main aestetics and I love it soooooooooo much :))
I think it's better to mix it up a bit, otherwise it starts to look more like a costume... so I'm really drawn to dark acedemia as well but I don't mind mixing in other things I like or brighter colors as long as they are my colors or whatever else... I feel like dark acedemia is sort of subversive as it is, so it's particularly ripe to personalize. And then... if you don't go around saying *my aesthic is such and such* and just let it speak for itself, you can let yourself not be constrained by an idea of one specific aesthetic.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
hey where is that black bag from on your door
it's from regal rose: www.regalrose.co.uk/products/copy-of-the-regalrose-heart-bag
also sometimes they do a promo where it comes with your order for free if you spend a certain amount (that's how I got it) :)
@@dressrelief thank you bby
"paleocore" what have we come to omg it's not healthy to try to turn EVERYTHING into an aesthetic 😭 it already ruined my self perception... (no hate towards you i think your channel is great and so fun lol i'm just stating my opinion on a topic under a video with that topic)
