They have been making the RX there in Cambridge for a long time and it gets top quality marks. As did the Corollas and Rav4s they have built. I was very happy to be able to buy a Canadian made NX Hybrid.
@@judyArsh Unfortunately they are not, at Tahara Plant and Aichi Plant in Japan, we follow MSTD A (Manufacturing Standard-A), yet at our oversea plants, Toyota requires manufacturing facilities to follow MSTD D-B instead of the Japan only MSTD A, out of considerations such as operating cost, supply pressure and human resource. I was in part of coordination of Cambridge plant and the compose of its SOP, and was stationed in Canada until 2019. Toyota use different materials, certain different components and follows different standard on Canadian-made Toyota/Lexus models compare with Japanese made ones. They put bestselling models to be built in oversea plants so they could generate even more profits.
Watching this and thinking how cars a put in a process throughout history its truly amazing especially with tech and how it progress....it truly is amazing....
Kind of wish these were made in Tahara plant just like the NX. Even the sealant applicator not as good as the Japan machines. Forcing me to get a GX when I really want the RX.
Disappointed to learn that our ordered RX 350h will arrive summer 2023 to Honolulu, Lexus. Is there a way that Lexus produce and ship ordered cars first instead of letting us wait for over 6 months. We paid reservations fees since late September.
Lexus is a very good car but in my NY smithtown Dealership is crazy , they want sell the price is not market price , they want to sell over market price , you need to add $4,000 extra money , i want to buy NX350 2022 car cost 45 to 46 + tax + 3.9% loan and other small items so total 54 to 55 but they want sell me 59 to 60 , LOooL i say bye bye stupid shit , i buy INFINITI 2022 QX50 cost 46 5 year 3.9% loan and tax total 52 .
No matter where is build, you can tell from the video and touching real product, it's tin foil. Very very thin metal pieces are being pick up by worker's hand and weld together by machines.
@@markhunter3888 is that just here, or is it like this everywhere? I was just wondering because I just read online Mazda is having difficulty with staff retention on some of their assembly lines
Individuals like Mark Hunter was not built for these types of jobs…I’m 100% sure when he signed up he was told about the rotating shifts he mentioned, this is a factory, like every other factory you’re not expected to be pampered…You go out there & you work…Now if he mentioned the grow in period then that’s a different issue but he only said rotating shifts & he wasn’t treated nicely…Not everyone there is “miserable” either,to each his own…They’re not slaves, they’re more than free to leave at anytime like Mr.Hunter here.
I love watching the choreography of car manufacturing. It's obvious these are dedicate people assembling these autos.
As a Toyota related engineer and a Lexus owner, here’s a little tip; make sure ONLY buy Lexus vehicle that are made in Japan. JAPAN ONLY.
I m getting my nx next year that is made in japan.
Same poor quality. Mis engineered. So many lexus cars are discontinued.

You are sad
Made in Japan= reliability
Made in Canada = it just ok
yep 100% gets worse as the manufacturing goes south of Canada XD
Is the RX is a jazzed up Highlander? Same driveline, Same chassis, same hybrid power?
Si. Everything is the same except interior
刈った後はスパイダーモアの方が粉砕されていますので綺麗ですね。機械の腹が支えタイヤが空回りしている様に見えますが、多分使用条件に合わないのかもしれませんね。お疲れ様でした

GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Cadillac dealers don’t have any cars, very few anyway and Tesla has a one year waiting list! Interesting!

Where is this manufacturer?
Cambridge Ontario Canada.
Step1: build a Highlander.
Step2: use better materials and panels.
Done.
Not made in Japan
Made in japan bây giờ chất lượng cũng không tốt như ngày trước nữa rồi
I want an RX 350 hybrid
Cars are perfect until they’re loaded and unloaded in the rail cars then they all get damaged

good choice, I think infiniti qx50 is better than nx

Manufactured in North America oh no...
It is fascinating to see our Canadian tax dollars at work.
