This is the first video I’ve watched from Penny… is that really just her voice acting skills? I thought she might’ve had someone else there with her because her voices sound so wildly different. Girl has the vocal chords of Loki.

Now that I'm older, I can admit that some things in this game can range from unintentionally funny to downright bad. But god does this game have a soft spot in my heart.

One thing I love about this game is that the DS version is an entirely different game with a different story. It's a metroidvania game about Spiderman and various other heroes and villains teaming up against a common enemy, with characters like Nightcrawler, the Green Goblin, and Black Cat all joining your side as you face down a greater foe together. It's unironically pretty decent, and nothing at all like it's counterparts
I literally just replayed that to 100% for no reason other than nostalgia
And that was back when X-men characters just casually popped up in Spiderman games like nbd. There's a particular _vibe_ about low-poly Spiderman and X-men chilling together
Damn that's crazy. And funny considering that Wolverine is in the other versions and we hear nothing of Green Goblin at all lol

Thank you, editors and Penny, for always giving these highlights dedicated captions. As someone with ADHD, I sometimes struggle with understanding what's being said in videos. It's nice to also see captions to give context for character voices, inflection, and even the alternating/all caps to convey HOW it's being said. It's a shame that RUclips removed the Community Subtitles feature, because it allowed a lot more videos to actually have these. Not everyone has an audience with enough demand for custom captions to warrant hiring someone to do it, but if someone in the community wanted to make those captions in their spare time, they could.
I swear, every time RUclips has a good feature, they scrap it because "not enough people were using it," and 9 times out of 10, it's because RUclips themselves did a crappy job of actually telling people that feature existed, or how to use it

I got to play this a few times as a kid at my cousin’s place. I remember finding it the coolest experience ever, specifically, the freedom to swing around a giant city… I expected feelings of nostalgia from this, but that didn’t quite happen.
