There are also russians in other teams, e.g. the russian Darja Varfolomeev in German team, who illegally entered Crimea after annexation for sport activity, the gold medalist of Paris 2024 (there are other signs that the russian sportwomen in the German team is supporting russian war in Ukraine, too)

Russia will be holding its own Friendship Games in September as an alternative to the Olympics. There have also been the BRIC games.
