As a Hispanic when learning Spanish it’s more about communicating and learning the slang from the people of that country. Most Hispanic people did not learn Spanish by the books either. They more learned it through their family and the people around them. My dad’s highest education is elementary school, so it’s way more important to communicate and learn the different dialects people use since each country isn’t the same. I had such a struggle with understanding Spanish class here in America and even my own parents who grew up in El Salvador didn’t understand it 😂. So my #1 tip with anyone learning a language is to actually speak it in their country and force yourself to learn it by the people there if anything.
@@cameronleerodriguezreally 😂 but it’s good to connect with your roots and since my grandma can’t really speak or understand English so I try to at least do it for her. But it’s wild since Ik a few Hispanic first learned how to speak/understand, then to read bc of the Bible, and then they learn how to write 😂.
@@sandwich2761Dominicans and Puerto Ricans speak Spanish waaay different than let’s say Mexico and Argentina it’s hard to understand them sometimes because the Spanish is so mixed with slag and even English grammar structures that don’t make sense to technical Spanish that’s what @op means

Ray be collabing with every streamer now. He collabed with Dontai for tips on a diss track for Yuno Miles, and it was hilarious cuz he kept calling Dontai old 😂
the accent thing is so true cause i’m from the caribbean and on top of having an accent we speak broken english so when im talking to people from the states i gotta remember to speak english properly AND to lighten up on my accent
Something that really helps with Spanish is getting down the Vowel sounds bc english has short and long vowel sounds while spanish just has one sound per vowel so knowing how to pronounce those well will go a long way to help you sound less like a gringo lol that and the accent marks over the vowels too
I remember I did French and Korean on Duolingo bc I was alr learning the languages and taking in the content from their countries, so having Duolingo def helped with learning sentence structure and some new words
This funnily enough reminds me of my cousin😂RIP, my family is Hispanic and he could speak fluently in Spanish, but for some reason he wouldn’t change his accent when speaking Spanish, kept the same voice he used for English😂😂my mom would make fun of him all the time for it.
Where you from Dee? Southern accents are great within the different southern accents, we have urban and then rural accents; then when black people speak the AAVE dielect plus with slang, it’s even crazier.😂😂🤣
Thank you for speaking about the accent thing. I completely agree, in Spanish class it was cringy to hear people speak Spanish with an English accent. I know if a person really learned a language by their accent in it, and if they can read and write in it.
Dee I wonder which Spanish accent you are trying to learn, every Spanish speaking country has their own version of Spanish and different accents. Im from DR and our Spanish is Different.

Yeah the Spanish my family speaks is giving Ghetto Spanish 😭. I personally stick to English and stray away from Spanish as much as I can.

I feel Dee on the accents because i lived in New Orleans and those Louisiana, Cajun, & Creole accents are CRAZY thick.
I’m surprise dee didn’t talk about her abilities when duke said he’s a sponge 😂
I know 😂
you get so many more job opportunities when you speak more than one language.. finding that out when i was 22 was game changing

I loved this 😂😂❤
We finally did right by making ray pop. 👏👏 that kids is genuine just laughs. We redeemed ourselves for Ms catch me outside and more 😂

Hey Dee there is a funny ass video of Sharky going to visit Kai while they are in NY 😂 you have to see it
3:41 Kai said they got kicked out a penthouse and had to hit the trap house 😭 probably one of Kai or Fanum people
You should watch the amp video of the penthouse in new York, and also an ice spice kai stream video. They pretty funny

i got to know what app dee uses for languages!!!!!
She uses Pimsleur, really good app but u gotta pay. There's a free trial tho
Pimsleur
Duolingo and babbel for beginners like cant say hello beginners , rosetta stone and pimsleur are good tho
An accent comes from PRONOUNCIATION, so I think the focus is pronounciation not mimicking an accent🤷🏾♀️
Naw react to more randomness
whats the app u use??
I’m pretty sure that was the house in New York they was in Dee
Teach me english mam 😂😂
