Wow! Mark! Just hearing you say that it's okay that I'm flawed, etc... brings relief. I've tried so hard to save myself, I'm scared to trust God to keep me. The perfectionist tries to be in control. Church also made me felt like it was my responsibility to get everything right if I want to stay save and earn heaven. I'm tired. Thinking about taking a break from church to learn to depend on the power of God for my soul.

I have a hard time with this, because in my mind "sin is never okay... being weak is never okay..." I have a massive backbuild up of shame and anger about my sins (because of my sins I've missed out on so much goodness and opportunities)... the mist painful is when I genuinely seek repenrance, and fail the very next day

Thank you God for breaking all that holds us back from living for and in your grace! In accordance with this word and romans 15:7, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind to hell every spirit of perfectionism in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ while binding to hell every lack of freedom from perfectionism, binding to hell being unequally yoked and having any common share with those lacking freedom from perfectionism, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
