Dan is the best instructor in the game. The Pro is the best $100 you can spend to make you understand the swing and will transform your game! Thank you Dan for sharing your knowledge!!
This video perfectly makes sense and summarizes how The Pr works best. Yet I am sometimes strugling with keeping my chest/upper body angle to the impact zone constant. Perhaps a subject for a next video Dan ?
Good video. Thanks. I like to feel as if my shaft between my club grip and the club head is non-rigid, like the rope in the Pro. Simple. Not so easy as it is simple.
Seems to me Dan when I allow the right elbow to pivot in the back and through swing I find this weightlessness. Is weightlessness essentially the total dissipation of tension in the swing?
I suppose, but if you understand that all your efficient movements are basically "weightless" in feel, then you likely arrive at some pretty clean "looking" positions.
I’m not familiar with gravity golf concepts and terminology. Probably should check them out! The initial move and transitional move is a reach and simultaneous rotation. It’s driven by an intention and mastered by our bodies brilliance to work with the acceleration of gravity to find the most efficient path of least resistance. Any measured GFR gives us clues and correlation in the time cycle but not causation of movement itself in my viewpoint.
This is a great question because it reveals a misconception that most golfers have on how a slinging motion works. The club automatically speeds up as it freely extends without restriction. Think about when you throw a ball, you don't leverage the ball at the last moment, but rather allow the hand and the ball to sling towards your destination with the timing of letting go at the right time! If you try to leverage a throw, you will throw it into the ground with way less speed. Same with a golf swing. I"m going to make a video based on your question because it's so easy to see with my training aid the PRO! Thanks!
@@danmartingolf exactly why there is the pro siting on my door step right now. There has to be a better way and I believe your on to something not being taught. I’m a believer in swinging the club for effortless speed which how I learned how to bullwhip crack. But this is the truth on what really is going on. Can’t wait to try it.
Once you get the club in motion by the rotation of your torso,if you stay in motion, the design of the golf club will do the rest. There is no need to manually manipulate the golf club on the downswing. In summary, get the club moving and stay out of it!!
Jeff, please reach out to me at dan@danmartingolf.com - let's figure out what's missing in your transfer to the club! I'll get you instructions on how to send me a few videos. I'll get you some feedback on what's likely being missed. Thanks!
@@cdunne1620 What the video says is to swing the weight of the clubhead around the body letting the body be pulled by the momentum of the clubhead thru release to finish. That is standard golf instruction anyone can learn to do with practice. You don't need to buy the Pro to practice that.
I’m not kidding but this might be the best golf instruction video ever,he really is of the best instructor,I’m a huge fan of Ernest jones but Dan is right up there,,🏌🏼🏌🏼

Thanks Rick! Appreciate the testimonial!
Perfect effortless swing. Thanks for those tips.
This is absolute gold

very interesting concept
Outstanding information, as always! Thanks Dan.
Glad you liked it!

Good one.
Great Title Dan!! :)
It's all you on this one! Thanks for the idea!
advice to young Dan "never loose motion" brilliant
Agree 100%….let the body flow with a stick in your hands

Does this explain why the Faldo pre set drill works so well ??By starting the golf swing at p1 there's a feeling of weightlessness. Thanks again Dan.

Is this similar to “the heave” in gravity golf? Is the initial move and the transitional move triggered by ground reaction force?

So how do you does it speed up if you stop leveraging your wrists and whipping through the ball

I've been using The Pro for several months, but it hasn't yet translated to swinging a golf club like The Pro. I think I'm hopeless.

Another good drill is the walking drill.
Dan Martin is to golf as Bill Nye is to science… 😊
Too much science, no instruction.
He said swing the club continuously until you sense the weightlessness. He said to use that Pro product. Are you not paying attention?
