This rendition is tightly controlled highlighting the singer's and tabla player's skills. It is difficult to believe that Nirali (the vocalist) records pop music as well as rock songs! It is useful to point out, before each raag, the notes that are permitted for that particular raag. The singer has to improvise simple and complex harmonies using words, phonemes, scatting etc within the restrictions of those notes.
Vinay Beenu yes only few ears can catch the besurapan! This is a carefully scripted performance . The singer has safely stayed within boundaries of her limited skills and creativity also by not taking risks and no experimentation and exploring of raag. Other than singing using two or three swaras repeatedly like dha ni dha ni or ga ma ga ma repeatation there is no spontaneous creativity. Saapat taan gaake dhikaye without stopping without repeating .. how much of Aakar sapaat taan was there ? Not many .. only repeatations of two or three swaras again and again . That doesn't need creativity or intelligence.
