Raga Malkauns/Hindolam by SANGAM-Indian Classical Music (Hindustani and Carnatic Music)

This is a recording of Raga Malkauns/ Hindolam respectively of Hindustani and Carnatic Music. The first composition is a traditional Hindustani Music composition "Dheeta Langara" set to Ek Tala, followed by a Carnatic Music composition "Samaja Varagamana" set to Adi Talam. Following this a percussion duet between the Tabla and Mridangam and the performance is concluded with a self composed Tarana based on Teen Tala.
The performers are:

Sowmya Gurucharan - Carnatic Vocal
Soumitra Thakur - Sitar
Rajeev Prasanna - Hindustani Flute
Mahavir Chandravat - Tabla
Manohar Balatchandirane - Mridangam

What a wonderful performance. I think I have heard it 50 times by now. Dr Avinash Kumar (Hindustani vocal) is brilliant. But the way Flutist and sitarist rendered I'm speechless. Every artist have done so well I can't express my gratitude for the person who has uploaded.
I very recently heard this since then I have been listening this again and again. Want to get lost in it forever . My knowledge about karnatic music is almost nill but I love every bit of it

A jugalbandi or jugalbandhi (Devanagari: जुगलबंधी, Urdu: جگلندئ) (Bengali: যুগলবন্ধী) is a performance in Indian classical music, especially the Hindustani classical music, that features a duet of two solo musicians.[1][2] The word jugalbandi means, literally, "entwined twins." The duet can be either vocal or instrumental.
What we have here is not Jugalbandi but double Jugalbandi or "CHUGALBANDI" a double duet of to vocalist and two musician (flute & Sitar).

I better not watch anymore classical Indian music today. Saumya’s voice was so pure, so flawless, I actually shed a tear. Avinash also proved his mettle! The sitar, mridangam and tabla did not have a single stroke that did not fall right. I am entranced. And I am very happy that talents like Soumya and Avinash are actually THERE. Our great music will not be killed by mafia don-plagued Bollywood! At least not yet. Thank you for sharing 🙏🕉‼️

It's not Karnataka music. It's Carnatic which includes entire south - Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Kerala, and Karnataka.

After the beautiful jugalbandi between Mridangam and Tabala, it kinda takes in the last 90 secs or so. Can't really express the feeling. It's like the heart is beating at 500 Beats per minute but the mind is at peace like in a state of Nirvana. Thanks a lot to the team for giving us this blessing.
