Some how, this video has a lot of detail while leaving out a lot of important parts. For people who have been sewing for a while, it's great. For people who are new to sewing and probably most interested in a kit, you skip a lot of basic tutorial for them that could be helpful and not leaving them scratching their head.
Hi Cheryl, the inside is self-lined at the top, and the bottom is not lined. You can always finish the insides of your seams with a serger to make everything look good on the inside!
HI, we never back the vinyl, but if you want to, you could potentially just cut the same size fabric and put it on the back of the vinyl before you sew it to the top of the bag. Experiment with it! Hope this helps!

This is great! I'd love to make it lined with different fabric- and need to insert plexiglass on bottom for sturdy support. Re-learning to sew again!!
Michaels has some corrugated plastic that is used to make yard signs. This can be used for a bottom support too.

What a fun way to sew up a bag! I’m just trying to figure out how to line the bottom section, backing the vinyl, any suggestions?

What kind of vinyl do you recommend ? Went to Joann's and saw four différent kinds.
You don't need bow it takes away from your bag which is beautiful

You have beautiful totes that you made but the first one with the bow makes it look cheap. I'd eliminate that bow and show the tote.
