This couples whole demeanor is just calm ,well articulated,and respectful . Once you ask someone to unlock their phone, either they are already acting shady, or you need support/therapy for trust issues. I've been married for years and I've never gone through my spouse's phone. I know how to get in in case there's an emergency but I've not once picked up his phone to look at its contents. I just don't have a reason to. I think these 2 were perhaps immature or like she said unprepared, couple's counseling might help them. Going through the phones won't solve a deeper issue
I totally agree. I am not married but I have never went thru my boyfriend's phone. Once I feel the need to do that, the relationship is probably over, because the trust is gone.
