    In case you were missing him. Ollie is the camera man/director for a majority of this channel.
    The reason for celebs not really exploring when they travel is because they are too busy working and stick to the basics.

      Celebs like that are barley even real people. They have an adult babysitter who follows them and make sures they dont do or say anything that will lead to PR issues. Especially if you work for disney. You basically have to talk to the agent/representative and then they will let you know if the celebrity is allowed to.

    I have recently found you guys. Glad to see you guys exploring Korean Englishman and Jolly videos. They have a whole series of introducing Korean bar b que and American food to English high schoolers. I am originally from Louisiana but now live in Seattle. Definitely miss the food.

    Jolly and Korean Englishman are my go to channels for westerners being introduced to Asian food. I'm from Malaysia. Keep up the reactions. Really loving them.

    Excellent reaction! They have introduced Korean food to several celebrities: Will Smith, Taran Edgerton, David Beckham, and Ryan Reynolds. The one with Ryan Reynolds is especially fun. But I enjoy their trips to Korea with the non-celebrities more because I learn more about Korea and their culture. They took their friends the twins to a water park and a Korean army base and did a combination of army exercises and food videos. They took the high schoolers to Korean schools and cultural sites. They took the rappers to a K-pop studio, a shrine, and an amusement park. On all the trips they explore the different types of Korean food as well.
    I love how your videos explore different cultures! I’m looking forward to watching more.

      What was really fun with the twins was being introduced to the military and giving them korean rations to try.

      @@BaeBunni I also enjoyed the Korean soldiers trying British army’s rations, and bringing them to the KP and showing them food or buy and prepare. Great series.

    Often, celebrities travel for work. Their schedules tend to be so full that they do not have time to experience the cultures and try different foods. On top of that, they often have to watch what they eat due to their work, whether that is staying in shape or making sure they do not get sick. This causes people to stick with what they know works for them.

    Thai and Vietnamese rolls use rice paper to wrap it and it is a fresh/spring roll, they have fresh Asian herbs, cucumber, lettuce and usually pork and/or shrimp. The Korean roll is called Kimbop and usually had fermented vegetables (correct me if I am wrong). all these rolls are served cold.

    • @junz8675
      @junz8675 7 месяцев назад +1

      Fermented vegetables aren't a common ingredient in Kimbap pickled ingredients however like pickled radish is a common one. The individual veggies are often lightly pan fried, braised, uncooked, or blanched. It's also not really served cold per se unless you're getting it from a convenience store but I guess room temp is the most common or slightly warm or cold kind of like a sandwich which is a convenient means to pack a meal for later

    That pear cost x3-5 the price of a regular pear you see in america. It is much more juicier and is a lot bigger. It is also crunchy. A regular pear is not crunchy compare to that asian pear. Taste like a melon, apple and pear combine. If you eat that korean pear you will never go back to that regular oval shape pair

    Ollie and Josh and their team tend to do major research on whoever they bring to the channel. They did the same for Lewis Hamilton by making him kimchi fried rice. LH is vegeterian if memory serves. Very disciplined about his eating, due to his job.

    Asian food isn't just texture but I can recommend trying some Japanese mochi. Mochi is a soft springy dessert made from rice flour and there are different flavors by mixing in certain ones in it. Matcha and strawberry are common but there is mochi wrapped around ice cream. Best way to get into it in my opinion. If you aren't ok with it, I won't be offended.
