This place always has a special place in my heart cuz it's where j learned to fish pretty much. I'm used to the crowd now haha. But definitely more crowded every year. It's the most likely spot for shore anglers to catch a 30
Yes we have to, lots of people take this world class fishery for granted. Some people just don't know so I'm always willing to share that knowledge with others. Looking forward to see your next adventure buddy!
@@TTangOutdoors Totally right, LML is probably one of the best walleye fisheries in North America so we do need to be careful. I've been busy on the competitive side of walleye fishing, but hoping to post soon! Also, congrats on a stellar day, it amazes me how many big ones are at the pier!
that first big walleye got roughed up. head slam into the bucket after rolling in the sand and fish need water movement over the gills. nice catch but i'd work on your fish handling before preaching conservation.
No bucket for starters. Have your pliers, spreaders and camera ready, don't hang the fish by it's gills, support it's body weight. Don't let it flop around. Hook out, quick pic and don't heave it back in like a stone. I don't do social media so don't need 70 different pics of the same fish. 30 seconds or less and the fish should be back swimming. The way some were handled in this video you may as well just bonk the damn things. Hope that helps.
Nice to see myself on your video. . . Nice catches 👏
Haha can't miss the hot bite at the pier.
Oohh yes!!! Well done. At the start....im such an introvert.... too many people on that dock for me! hahah
Haha buddy you don't sound introvert in your videos😄. It does take time to get used to. I've fished this pier for 7 years now. Thanks man!
@@TTangOutdoors Lol thanks and well its cuz its only myself an Jess haha

One of the best days I've had there. It's only this crowded early season. Let's go in August.

@@Drewnshaylynn I know that spot just haven't had the chance to try it. Will do this summer!
You have to release the big ones, for the fisheries and to grow them even bigger. The little guys taste better anyway! Keep preaching the message Tom!

How would you do it in that situation?

Everyone should be realseing big ones embaressing that people aren’t educated enough to know that
How to educate? And even if educated some will say they didn't break any rules...
