For a healthy young man, stern, severe exercise is strengthening to brain, bone, and muscle. And it is an essential preparation for the difficult work of a physician. Without such exercise the mind cannot be in working order. It cannot put forth the sharp, quick action that will give scope to its powers. It becomes inactive. Such a youth will never, never become what God designed he should be. He has established so many resting places that he becomes like a stagnant pool. The atmosphere surrounding him is charged with moral miasma.-Letter 103, 1900
Mental Effort Restricted When Physical Exercise Neglected-Those who are engaged in constant mental labor, whether in study or preaching, need rest and change. The earnest student is constantly taxing the brain, too often while neglecting physical exercise, and as the result, the bodily powers are enfeebled and mental effort is restricted. Thus the student fails of accomplishing the very work that he might have done had he labored wisely.-Gospel Workers, 173 (1893). 1MCP 117.4 - 1MCP 118.1

All who are under the training of God need the quiet hour for communion with their own hearts, with nature, and with God. In them is to be revealed a life that is not in harmony with the world, its customs, or its practices; and they need to have a personal experience in obtaining a knowledge of the will of God. We must individually hear Him speaking to the heart. When every other voice is hushed, and in quietness we wait before Him, the silence of the soul makes more distinct the voice of God. He bids us, "Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10. This is the effectual preparation for all labor for God. Amidst the hurrying throng, and the strain of life's intense activities, he who is thus refreshed will be surrounded with an atmosphere of light and peace. He will receive a new endowment of both physical and mental strength. His life will breathe out a fragrance, and will reveal a divine power that will reach men's hearts. MH 58.3
I am an SDA and have been having many talks and arguments with my family and fellow Christians about meat eating. It is not what God created us to eat. Christians should not be supporting the cruel meat, egg and dairy industries, and finally, no death will be in heaven, so no meat. We live in a time now that has amazing plant based meat and other foods, so no excuses!

You're doing great! I believe I've read in the old books that meat eaters will have to die before Jesus comes. They can't be translated due to complications.
I highly recommend the autoimmune cook book Put out by adventist lady doctors who also have a home sanitarium in northern California called year restored.
It is an amazing program that just works.

I appreciate you taking the time to make such a nice comment. I can make another video about what some of my parent's reactions were. The bread I have in the video is Food For Life Ezekiel Bread. It is in the refrigerated section of most grocery stores.

@@HugsFromJesus maybe I didn't explain that very well. What I remember if it, it's been many years, the people who come fully into the health message are the ones who are clear minded and able to gain victory over every temptation. I'm not explaining this very well. I'm sorry.
What I understand is that flesh foods strengthen the carnal nature and bring out temper, etc.

There are those who ought to be awake to the danger of meat eating who are still eating the flesh of animals, thus endangering the physical, mental, and spiritual health. Many who are now only half converted on the question of meat eating will go from God's people, to walk no more with them.-The Review and Herald, May 27, 1902.
