The body of Christ doesn't know how to properly minister to the spirit. But we are being quickened those who can receive will receive and those who can't won't
I think headscarves are often worn as a means to present oneself in a modest manner that is in harmony with the woman's objectives. It is possible that many women recognize what they perceive to be the incredible beauty of their hair and chose to keep that beauty a special blessing to exclusively her husband. It also may be in a compassionate effort to help the brethren in their vicinity that might stumble in thought or in deed due to their hair being uncovered. Often in such scenarios head coverings are not chosen to be worn around family members or in contexts that only other women are present. Sometimes it may be to fit in with others who wear one in their social sphere or as a personal choice to adopt their current cultural customs. Each woman is as an individual is hopefully making their own choices. The most common however is plausibly the decision to practice what they consider a higher standard of modesty and or as an clear way to communicate their respect to their God and to their Husbands.
Perhaps this is what it means to “appear as lambs, be as wise as serpents, while remaining as gentle as a doves”….
