Improve your photography compositions Instantly with these tips.
Improving your compositions is one of the most important steps to taking better Photos. With there being a bunch of rules out there, including the rule of thirds, the golden ratio, symmetry etc. it can quickly become overwhelming to learn about composition techniques. But, most of the concepts like leading lines, depth, balance, symmetry can all be explained with the rule of thirds. With new phones like the iPhone 15 pro max that has an optical zoom camera, there are more options for interesting compositions than ever before. Prime lenses or compact fixed-lens cameras like the Fujifilm X100V or Ricoh GRIII also offer an interesting challenge for finding creative compositions. These concepts work for improving your photography, cinematography, or even paintings, because a good composition is the basis of every good image.

I just discovered your channel yesterday, instantly subscribed. Funny guy, great explanations, awesome content! :D Keep it up!!
Thank you so much!! 🥰
Super useful video and good reminder wherever you are on your artistic journey. Two things worth mentioning in addition: (i) many people would be much better off with having just one focal length, at least for a significant amount of time, in order to actually learn to 'see'. When only using a 35 (or a 50 if you are into people photography), you will learn to recognise and visualise beautiful images even without looking through the camera. (ii) open apertures are not your friend most of the time. Yes, a creamy bokeh can look appealing in a portrait, and sometimes, only sometimes, with objects as well, but usually a shallow depth of field doesn't make a bad composition or a boring environment better. It just makes the boring environment blurry.
We're all still angry about the Star Wars sequels, love that reference 🤣
Yeah it’s hard not to be 😂
Awesome job mate. Keep up the vidoes. I especially like the humorous touch 🔥
Thanks a ton!
I recently subscribed and enjoy your no BS approach. +10 points for the sweet Stealie shirt 🌹⚡️💀
Thank you haha!!!
Great Video! These tips are super helpful, especially for beginners, but after many years, it can still help to get a quick refresh on all these concepts. The video was also really well edited, I liked the rotoscoping and the little animations you did in the pictures.
Thank you! Yes haha making this video was also a great refresher for myself 😂
thank you!
very valuable content dude! thank you. also love the edits!

Thank you very much!
Great video
Thank you for watching!
I also think someone could have a natural talent for composition and also defying standards with their creative vision! :)
Agreed! There are many accomplished photographers that seemingly follow no rules or concepts but still produce amazing work. You definitely don't need these concepts, but they are a great starting point if you want to improve your photography and train your intuition.
@@futc.photographyCompletely agree! A very good starting point and to use to advance your own creativity. Also, I love the comedy aspect in your videos! Keep it going
🤣🤣🤣 I enjoyed this
you forgot the most important composition trick, that is to buy a zoom lens
