Congrats on grabbing one! I absolutely LOVE my females. Such cool looking and gentle spiders. We have some folks selling slings in the US right now; its the first time I've seen them available here. Great stuff!

The stout leg is definitely cute and since you said they are hard to get hold of, no wonder i hadnt heard of one. It was cool for Osman to help you out there, he is a cool guy. Yes the spider didnt want a new home, but they do get attached to their homes. Cool video Matt 👍

My Last T was an Orange sunburst Baboon...Lived 4 years and got as big as my palm....ate Fuzzies and feeder lizards

I love watching Tom Moran, have to admit he is my favourite RUclipsr from a few months before I got my first tarantula. His husbandry tips are fantastic, only 1 person I trust for husbandry advice above his and that's my best mate in the hobby 😊
I'm pretty sure you said about maybe getting the odd guest on as a live in future, you couldn't do much better than Tom 👍

SPA have had the pachypus recently - £80 for the slings. But aside from that I’ve not seen them personally.
I pretty much stopped looking for ages.
Toms brilliant. He would be an amazing guest. My channel is far too small a platform I’d think for the likes of such a man.
The big guns were the way to go 😂. After seeing this baboon I understand the attraction. Nice find by Osman. What a gentleman he is!

@@TarantulaRookie scolopendra dehaani orange leg, stirmi , aphonopelma armada, chalcodes , moderatum . pseudhapalopus columbia ,birupes simoxigoram, caribena versicolor ,thrixopelma pruriens and cambridgi ,irminia from mark (won on his live bout 2 month ago) and one cant remember the name but got initials of p.s. lol

AWESOME video Matt I had an adult female couple years ago she passed of old age but I have a grown on sling now the female I had I could hold her but still I wouldnt recommend it as they are calm Ts but they STILL POSSESS the OLD WORLD VENOM too defo wake you up in the morning lol but yeah an altogether AMAZING starter OLD WORLD species the one I would recommend getting for your first OLD WORLD the female I had also dug down deep she also built a turret above ground that went right up to the lid of her enclosure am so happy I managed to get another one PRICEY at the moment BUT WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY
Yeah they definitely seem to be a unique species to observe 👌🏼

Yeah I didnt pay anywhere near the price that they are here thats for sure :) I have never had a robustum but i do have some gigas - which i adore.
