Sweet rifle and super shooting Manny. That last group is very good. You have lots of slugs at different weights to try. It looks like there is big potential there. I like the H&N slug sampler pack for trying different weight slugs. 28 to 36g
Thank you brother, and that’s right, it gets super expensive, but anything for you guys. This rifle loves the freaking hades on .25 cal.. massive explosion, very accurate with them.
@@AffordableAirguns that's what I'm talking about my brother! Love shooting those Hades. Especially in my Gauntlet gen 1 25 caliber. Absolutely crushing power!
I have two of the snowpeak M60 b's the .30 and .25 cal versions and I was pretty frustrated with them at first especially when shooting slugs and then I decided to try increase in the hammer preload which should bring more power but with these guns actually did the opposite and actually decreased performance I then took the hammer spring all the way back out and saw an increase in power that made me rather curious so so I took the gun apart all the way down to its smallest components that's when I saw that it had a 4-port valve so the only thing I can think of is that the hammer spring hammer spring is hitting that very small light valve too hard causing it to open too much turbulent are of sorts and perhaps making a bit of bottle kneck situation and reducing powergot so next i sourced a hammer spring that was about three coils shorter and a little bit lighter meaning a slightly thinner diameter wire and next thing you know I'm shooting .25 32gr varmint Knockers @ 985 fps you might want to give this a try because 24 inch barrels are not at all short barrels and should have no problem see😢ing 900 + feet per second the m60's shortcomings are mainly lack of plenum space the valve would be better as a single port instead of a quad-port valve and the regulator. Which is why on my .30 I deleted the stock reg and bottle valve and made an adapter so that I could run any 1/2 14 threaded reg I wanted I wanted more adjustability so I went with my RTI performance regulator because I've used them in several builds that have done and they've always worked pretty flawlessly for me and I love being able to adjust pressure up or down without having to degas although I am considering switching to the cricket regulators because they offer an even higher rate pressure adjustment option. But I digress I then made a.2 25cc plenum extensions threaded male 1/214 and female 1/214 show that they mate right up to the regulator followed by the adapter that I made for the barrel I went with a no choke 28in .30cal 1:16 tport lothar Walther polygonal 6.mm barrel port made a custom single port valve with a 6 mm port open the transfer Port up to 6mm as well now she shoots Griffin 65 grain hollow point slugs at 995 to 1000 ft per second all day long well not quite all day in reality I get 4 of the 14 round mags out of my 580cc bottle with my regulator set at about 2500-2600ish PSI add two full turns in on the hammer spring now that the valve is single port and it now uses a heavy hammer spring that is for an avenger
hello brother, I am very inspired by your video. I also have a Snowpeak M60B caliber 177. In this month I have not found a good group for one hole. I almost got frustrated, after seeing your video I will try again. thank you greetings Bali
What’s up my friend, long time no see around here,, hey, first low the reg to 110bar and get your best pellet that make a good group at the moment, then start playing with the hammer spring and check out how works after increase the turns on the hammer spring, chasing the best group, then if you think you need more power, increase regulator pressure.. keep in mind the wind and pellet or slug weight..
Good video, I think there's a lot of room for improvement for the tuning. Those Nielsen slugs love either 850fps or 950 fps. The rifle needs a bit of tuning too with the hammer spring and maybe with transfer ports. I've added FX STX Superior barrels to a Air Venturi Avenger and we get 2cm groups @ 70 meters, with the reg @ 2400psi, heavy hammer spring at a soft setting. I've seen these M60 barrels are polygonal and therefore a bit fussy when finding the right ammo.
There is not much tuning to do with a Non regulated air rifle,, just shot at your sweet spot the slugs and check out how works, if that doesn’t work, adjust the hammer spring up till you find a good group.
190bar on regulator (plenum) is a bit too high , some of good rifles can do the same accuracy and distance with 130bar on regulator . What is better in .25 cal in your opinion : Reximex Throne Gen2 OR Snowpeak M60b ?
@@Bemx2k is too high but that’s what you can get with out drilling the air transfer valve/port). The Reximex g2 is a good pcp but in .22 can even get close to 920 fps, imagine on .25? Also cost almost double of the price depending where do you order. I will go with the snowpeak.
My Artemis P15 and M60 in .177 caliber had crapy barrels. The barrel's accuracy was not acceptable for Field Target. Both barrels needed re crowning and lots of lapping and polishing before I was able to get consistent 1/2 " groups at 55 yards.
If you could test fit the barrel off your fx if they work ill order them tonight lol. I have 2 m60b's in .25 cal with the 420cc carbon bottles and the new outside fill ports with adjustable reg w/moderators on order from Wes.
Yeah in looking around I see a company listing an fx barrel as an upgrade option through them on the snowpeak m60b so I may have to try and find a used barrel to just test it out then see how it works.
Hmmm….62 ft/lbs with an almost 200 bar reg and apparently no hammer spring adjustment??? Yeah much rather have this than an fx that will do that at 120 bar. Lmao. Those commenting that are f in stupid.

Very nice shooting and slug test Manny. Can get expensive quick testing for the right slug. That's why i only shoot pellets. Take care brother!😊

We adjusted to the max on the hammer spring, I mentioned on the video. Yes they love those kind of velocities.

Yes I heard a lot of bad things about snowpeak in .177 general. They are not the greatest
I've been looking for the M60B. Where did you order from?
Airgun archery fun, link is on the description.
is this possible too change its caliber say from .25cal to .22cal?
Do u have adjusting the pressure of inline regulator for every differents slug weight?
To find the perfect tune, Yes, then you can play with the hammer spring,, this kind of hammer spring won’t give you alot of power went you adjusted.
Try the h&n grizzly 31g at 160+/- bar. They’re great at 860fps
I’m going to try them, thank you 🙏
Cundo será que van a salir los reguladores para esos rifle
No han salido para el rifle, pero si puedes poner un regulador de botella Huma o altaros y remover el regulador de adentro
