    Nice shooting. It may lead FX types to cry foul, but at 1/3 to 1/4 the price of FX offerings, this thing is fine. It's 90% there on 30% of the price. Basic math to me. Conclusion: I ordered a 9mm M60B from Wes yesterday.

      9mm? Nice! Let me know how it shoots after you get it. Thanks for watching.

      @@AirRiflePestings Forgot to respond. I took it out a few times. It's got a prism sight and I shoot off-hand. It's a load of fun, lots of shots per fill. At least 40 shot and I never let it go down too low. Using the low cost Snowpeak 81gr (yeah baby) pellets and tuned my spring to slam steel targets at 630 fps approx. It's not super powerful hunting rifle or pretending to be one either. It's a badass, consistent plinker with high shot count. Good trigger, feels great to hold. One of my favorites for sure. A keeper. Shot strings are consistent too. It has a regulator.

    What type of moderator/suppressor do you have on the snowpeak? It is very quiet!

    You going to drill out the ports on the m60b to get the fps up and shooting better? Have you polished the barrel yet? I have 2 being shipped out tomorrow from Wes been a long wait but excited to see what all i can do with them. Got two 25cal with the carbon bottles should be nice air rifles for my son and I to start on got some Arken optics 4-16×44 ffp illuminated optics for them. We are excited. Also got the carbon wrap since yours looks so nice.

      I haven't done any mods to the internal as this gun was sent to me by Wes to review. Since it is shooting the NSA 17.5gr so accurately, I didn't want to mess it up, lol. Yes, Wes was waiting for this shipment for a very long time. Glad they finally approved at the Custom.
      Let me know how yours shoot, especially with the 25 cal. Nice scope you have there. Yes, I do like the carbon wrap as it protects the barrel well. You can copy my rail for the bipod. I am reposting the M60B MODS video. Just doing some editing to remove some footages in all of my previously posted videos.

    Have you tried weight batching the slugs to see if they group better ?

    • @AirRiflePestings
      @AirRiflePestings  4 месяца назад

      I used to weight and separated the slugs, but not too much now. They will definitely group more consistently with the same weight batch. Just too much work, lol.

      Discovery ED4-20x52mm FFP. Very nice glass, but heavy as a hunting setup.

    i do like you show honest groups my m60b was a early one that you had to remove bottle to fill i made a quick disconnect adapter for it but the barrel really sucked so i rebarrelled with a lothar walther from a Hammerli 850 magnum that loves the 15.89 jsbs and its great out to 80 yds i havent tried any slugs but i will to be honest i bought a snowpeak p35 and it will out to 90yds outshoot my revere,maverick, air arms s400 hands down the most acurate air rifle i own very very consistant much better than the fx maverick

      Glad you had it sorted out with the LW barrel. Yes, these Snowpeaks are a sleeper. Great accuracy for the money.

    I'm sorry, brother, but something is wrong with your M3 if that is shooting better.

      @ARP-airriflepestings oh... still, that's not good. The MK2 and the M3 have won many compitions. I'd love to see someone win with a Snowpeak. You need to figure out another tune because that Snowpeak shouldn't come close to an FX. They shouldn't even be brought up in the same category. Lol! I hope you get it figured out.

      @ARP-airriflepestings I have an M3 800 mm .22, and I have mine set at 165 bar slinging 34 grains at about 1080 fps, and it's a tack driver. 👌🏻 🎯📌
