      Vasileios he’s doing combos with the gameplay so they’re being recorded at the same time. Probably just him using StreamLabs as a reference like how TV weather people know where to point on the map.
      Maybe that’s what you were implying but I figured that was the case. It’s still cool to see, I wish more creators did it.

    Nina and Lee's wall travel is sadly not rewarding now especially with the technicality. I wish they can regain their identity back as the king and queen of wall travel

      @@gammadopplercs2 if you see at the bottom the screen when you are on the selection screen, you will see a button that says customized slots, you press that button on Nina and it will appear other costumes

    I've said it before, Nina has the hardest carry tool in her butterfly. Lee? Once you get b+2 down, its pretty simple to do consistently. This IS ALWAYS hard lmfao

      I agree with you 100%. Nina’s iws1s are easily one of hardest execution tools to master. I find Julia’s max damage wall carry, and Lee’s b2 loops far more easier to do.

      @@fartmaster--po4ti im no pro player, but im going to say yes. Paul's qcf+1 is the same kinda thing as Anna's qcf+1. Its more of a quick input rather than a precise input

    I recently gave Julia a try and holy shit, she has soooo many combo routes. Even if they nerf her wall travel and damge in Season 4 / Tekken 8, as long as she gets to keep her combo freedom I would still love to play her.

    actually, if you practice the qcf u/f then you also practice elizas animation canceled qcb u/b 3 (or 4) at the same time, if you happen to pick that character up in the future.

      Glad I’m not the only one who recognizes Bruce wall carry. His wall carry and damage was Tekken 7 Julia’s in steroids, with his wall carry piss easy to do with 3,2f~1 loops. On top of that his wall ender of f3,1 into db2,1,4 did insane amount of damage.

    This is why Nina is considered a hard character. You can mash strings all day and do fairly well, but if you want to maximize her, you have to put a LOT of work in. It's not even just ws+1 combos, but also the fact that even her b&b combos require a ss+1 cancel that will take some practice to perfect. After her uf+1 launcher, the optimal combo involves a crouch cancel which is a pain to get consistently. Then you throw in all the options off ss+1, including perfect ss+1 cancels, all of which come from her basic strings. A high level Nina is cancelling ALL the time, and with all the inputs and timings it's easy to fall into predictable patterns that will get you burned. Nina's an amazing character and deserves a LOT more respect.

    Qcfuf just more smoother imo. Hard part about butterflies is the amount you may need to get to the wall but they also leave great oki spiking down with ivory cutter.

      TMM thinks Nina Scrub Nina is easy. Nina at her max potential is a very hard character. SS1 cancels, butterfly loops, learning a hard Korean backdash since she's a backsway character... Nina is a hard at the maximum level, but without all of that...she's pick up and play. Just watch Mrsplaystuff use Nina...you'll see what I mean 😂. She went all the way to TGP without the hard stuff 💀...

    Getting into T7 with Stick and found Nina best fits my style, perfect timing TMM. Respect all the effort towards your content.

    Nina still has better wallcarry then julia but its locked behind execution barrier.
    Nina can do between 6 and 7 butterflys in combos depending on the launcher you choose to get maximum carry and surpass Julia.
    The last one is always justframe.
    And wr+3,4 becomes only justframe if you have reached the maximum number of possible butterflys.
    With u/f+1 its possible to do a maximum nummber of 6 butterlfies.
    At the DUOMO DI SIRIO stage on the 2nd Floor its enough to do only ×5 iws+1, instead of max.6, to reach the wall with wr+3,4 and finish of with a wall ender.
    How ever Nina surpasses Julias wallcarry before she reaches the maximum number of butterlfies she can do in a combo by 1.

    I must add a pair of things to the interested:
    -Multi iWS1 combos ALWAYS require a angle to the right. Some previous move leave this right angle like u/f+4 (still depending on the launcher you must slightly ssr).
    -You have more than one way to multi iWS+1s:
    qcf,u/f+1
    d,f,n,1 (but this is just a faster qcf than happens on accident)
    d,d/f,b+1 (This is the hardest one but is the faster one).
    ...
    In the actual version of the game, in order to hit wr3,4 after iWS1,1+2 S! you must do one less iWS+1 than you would normally. Try these:
    d/f+2 L! u/f+4~ssr~d/f+1,2~d/f,n,1 iWS1, iWS1,1+2 S! wr3,4
    *here wr3,4 2nd hit will whiff*
    but with
    d/f+2 L! u/f+4~ssr~d/f+1,2~d/f,n,1 iWS1,1+2 S! wr3,4
    *here it will always hit*
    Take this in consideration when you launch your opponent and you are kind of far of the wall.

    I've been playing Nina for a while and trust me, the butterfly loops are pretty freaking useless in Tekken 7, she has other combo options in this game. In previous games a serious Nina player just had to know the loop but now it's basically just for showing off.

      Uhhhh actually they are imperative in open stages. I actually mained her in tag 2 with xiaoyu. And I have to get my execution back cause I played her almost everyday back then but that quickly changed when I picked my other main since Tekken 6 which is zafina. In open stages Iw1 is so crucial. It can literally save your round. Now for wall stages the generic hell bringer combo will get you to the wall without having to sacrifice damage for execution. All solid Nina’s know that the advantages of learning at least three loops could be essential when you’re closer to the wall and a generic long range combo won’t do. It just provides more versatility in the combo route and combo spacing. I’ll pick her up again soon.

      U drunk asf lol. I main Nina and those butterflies are everything to a strong Nina player. All her most dmg combos comes from her multi butterflies. And it’s safe on block. From her ss 1 cancel to butterfly always checks ppl pressing buttons and sometimes sidestepping if u delay it, it could clip them or trade a ss move. And it’s mid. And most stages butterflies gets u wall to wall.

      The damage nerf on ws+1 took some of the usefulness out of it, but yes if you main Nina there's no excuse not to incorporate it into your game. A lot of okizeme setups and resets come from using ws+1 in juggles as well.

    its also good to do a screw early and then use iws1 to carry to wall and wall splat with iws12. That way you dont have to depend on hitting the wr 34 ender.

    it's kind of sad how so many characters can now do a wall to wall carry with zero execution, which just pisses on characters who needed to do high execution combos for greater wall carry.

    This is a great tool but for anyone looking to get better Nina pressure you MUST practice her Perfect Side step 1 cancels which are PLUS 4 ON BLOCK! like an electric more difficult then butterfly

    Right here! Nina main at Suzaku! Def need the loops to get the biggest damage, luckily she doesn't absolutely need it. It's not as hard as it used to be, it was 💯 necessary in S1.

    Started slowly like you said.
    Started practicing it 30min ago and I can do them 30x in a row, both sides, and just-below-average speed in the neutral.
    I figure with 5 more days of practice I can start incorporating them into combos in practice.
    I'll apply this to electrics too to start building up the muscle memory

    Julia has less carry than Nina, but Nina's combo is infinitely harder.
    Also he wasn't doing it frame perfect and if he tried doing the 5+ butterflies combo, he wouldn't be able to connect them probably. If you want a perfect input you need to get d,f,n,1.
    Also comparing this to a PEWGF is a really misguided comparison. For a frame perfect comparison he should try uninterruptible ss1 into df1+2, that stuff is mega hard.

      No Julia is better, TMM tested it doing 5 butterfly combos, Nina didn't even come close. Only 2ds have better than julia with full meter.
      Edit: Also Julias' is consistent, Ninas' isn't.

      @@dupla0392 max wall carry would depend on the launcher and 5 iws1s doesn't mean it's necessarily the max carry.
      For example he could do it from ssr qcf1 qcf1, or uf4 uf4.
      It was tested in the Nina server a while ago too

      @@dupla0392 This was tested. if you remember the old channel Aika. Nina could get wall to wall on hammerhead off a low parry and Julia couldn't. Dragunov and Nina carry further. Nina's new move in season 3 is a huge factor in her carry.

      @@BugLondon Then it's probably true, TMM tested it from the basic launchers (mostly 15i) and combos that are stapleable.
      Also Drag secondary here, he can't match them since 3,1 sneak got nerfed, or he needs to lose a ton of dmg at the point where it doesn't worth it.

      @@dupla0392 The thing about Dragunov is that season 3 didn't actually increase his wall carry. He always had that carry and it was just made easier and more flexible. That's why many long time drag mains thought the community's complaints about 3,1 were misguided.

    My main is Nina and I play Julia as well, and I definitely don’t think Julia dmg is high than Ninas. Like Julia’s highest dmg combo is like 86-87 with no wall, ch or rage. Nina’s is like 91-93 can’t remember, and waaaay easier than Julia’s high dmg combo executions.

    I'm a Nina main player and this explanation is correct to start practicing the iWS1 flaps. Nice one. Anyway Julia remains better among the two characters as wall carry combo because Julia has bigger damange on her wall carry. The flaps are difficult to connect in pressure status and bad concentration and if you get them, your damage is poor. Julia is simple and her damage in more visible just in poor ff1 combos.

      She's standing on the balls of her feet, which is something a number of fighting styles seem to encourage and probably an especially good idea if you ever find yourself trying to fight in stiletto heels for some stupid reason. It does look strange, especially the way she keeps grinding her left heel in and out, but it seems that's mostly because her awkward-looking stance straight out of Tekken 1 combines really badly with the Tekken 7 style of pose animation.

    The issue is this combo is not possible with a controller. Making Nina, Paul, and lee impossible to use at thier fullest potential. Timing for th slaps would be PERFECT visually, but will never hit the 2nd slap on controller.

    That combo was difficult at t6/ttt2 since you had to perform a tiger knee input. Now I see low rank players perform it

    This is just like Bryan's iWS+3. It's easy to do on Mixbox/Arcade stick. But, it's hard to do on Pad (just because of the delay)

    the hard part is to do the first qcf,n,1 after ws1 from df3,2~1 because if i do it too soon, her recovery animation will eat up the qcf motion and only 1 come out, too late then well...it just whiff

    Respectable. Just to note that you have to ssr cancel from ss1 everytime if you dont manually move right before the combo. Also the more demanding combo from uf1 is uf1, CC, df3, 2 SS1 N uf4, qcf1 X3 then dash up qcf1

    God quarter circle right is so freaking hard for me man .. it's ridiculous. Even tho I've learned you basically just barely go down then you can go straight for down left or right and then left or right. You don't have to go all the way down, then start your swoop. But man it's hard af. 40 hours in. Sheesh. Literally why I knew I couldn't main Paul. Too many qrtr circle moves. I'm a little better than I was but I wish I could just lab with no opponent just to practice that across screen.

    Personally, I find Lee's Rear Cross Punch loops more annoying than Nina's Fluttering Butterflies. At least more annoying to time. It took me longer to pin that down, but I eventually figured out how Nina's loop worked.

    I feel like this video doesn’t have as much thought in the research side nina has slightly better wall carry than julia. In terms of consistency and the difference in travel it’s probably just better to play Julia

    I like Nina because she’s not cheap and a pay to win character. Net code still hot trash in the game but if they would just fix that and take out the brain dead in game delays things would be so much better. To be honest I think this is all about money and to drag in the casual trash bag players

    Because he loves using uf1 as the laucnher and that he used df3,2 in the combo she didn't reach the wall... df2 uf4 ssR df1 iws1(4x),1+2 fff3,4 will reach the wall...Still not matching Julia's wall carry LOL

      if you're not crazy about optimisation then you're right you do not need them, Nina normal combo routes T6 onwards always did provide pretty good wall travel imo . However one of Tekken's most beautiful aspects is many ways exist to do the same thing. When I was trying to do it the traditional way, I could barely get one rep for months, but if you,'re a pad play try Akuma' s Shoryuken motion than uf1 and for timing you want to input iws1 while they're quite low to the ground. That worked at least for me.

    Steve's difficulty has been underrated for a long time. You used to have to perfect wildman to get the best out of him, hopefully they bring this back in Tekken 8

      The hardest thing he has is his machine gun punches into ws1 after his ext duck 1 or ch df2 everything else is super easy.

    MainMan please turn down the sharpness at the end. When shrunk down the video is fine but that video is way oversharpened. I'd advise changing your settings in OBS or directly recording in camera to an SD Card then using that footage.

    Hey, no dumbass stream chat. Refreshing.
    Anyway, another helpful method of doing the iWS1 loop is to go from qcf to uf as a substitute for neutral. Just make the input smooth (do the qcf properly, at a decent but not too-fast rhythm, and at the right window so that the qcf sway actually comes out) so that you don't get accidental Skull Splitters (uf1). Personally, I find it much less awkward than doing a qcf and then waiting a few frames before pressing 1.

    Any time a character has a qcf-inpyt more it always scares me since I am used to spamming it due to my PTSD with Street Fighter many years ago. I have to switch to using the d-pad instead of the joystick whenever I have to do Kazuya's EWGF or Eliza's shoryuken.

    If I do "frame perfect" inputs how come it doesn't come out? I mean after doing (2:50) uf 2 1, ss df 1, df 3 2, forward, 1 (the first butterfly). After this one it will do just a regular punch most of the time. While the input is "perfect". Doing the whole input too early after the first easy butterfly? Okay so after posting this I got 3 in a row at the end of that combo. Using the PS3 stick is less prone to errors compared to the D-pad I just found out.
